Not sure if several posts or one with a list would be better, so if I should split this up, let me know.

I have three questions. I may have more.

 1) If I have more questions, is it better to edit the topic, make another post in the same topic (this one), or make another topic?

 2) Once imposed, if a tulpa pushes the host, will they lose balance?

 3) I currently imagine one of those generic humanoid sketches as a form. Is this bad? I've heard of using a generic sphere, and a detailed form, but what about a form that's easier, but not detailed?

 4) I have a schedule for (active) forcing, which is not super flexible (for regularity). Is it okay to take 30 minutes from it and force again at another time for 30 minutes? Is passive forcing a good replacement?

Edit 1: Add question 4

Optimally you'd ask questions that aren't frequently answered, in their own thread with a descriptive title, to archive in-depth responses... But people tend not to do that (the search feature is questionable), so you can just ask a handful of random questions in one thread, sure. Eventually you should make a new thread though, it'd be weird if everyone just had a personal thread for asking questions - the point of the forum format is to not have to answer everyone individually forever, y'know?

Imposition is a skill you train over time, so whatever effects are up to what you guys can eventually achieve. It's not a mental switch you press and suddenly your tulpa is real, and generally, people don't train it seriously enough to simulate touch past feeling-like you felt something, but I guess there's not technically limits to what you can convince your mind of, just.. limits to people's interest in training the skill

Whatever you like, this isn't a rigid process, it's an imaginative one. So imagine what you'd like, working towards the end result you want if e.g. you can't visualize that well yet but want to. I generally recommend people just imagine a person/character (whatever form they're comfortable with) for their tulpa from the start, but then, maybe some people really are most comfortable with a glowing sphere or something. Maybe...

It's the same as any skill: The total time you spend on dedicated practice/learning/etc. develops the skill, with diminishing returns from spending a lot of time all at once vs just being consistent over time, and likely noticeably less progress when you spend too long away from it (e.g. multiple days without even briefly refreshing your mind on it)

Passive forcing means time spent interacting with your tulpa that you're not as directly focused on them for, so for example talking to them while you watch a show, instead of active forcing talking to them and-that's-it, being more focused on their presence (/that you're trying to create through intent & expectation) and responses. It's always better than nothing, though early on active forcing is very important to really develop a tulpa in the first place. (It's always a good thing though, to keep skills like visualization and vocal clarity sharp)

I imagine the difficulty in achieving a standard satisfying tulpamancy experience varies a lot by person, but I guess I'd recommend just having a minimum of 20 minutes every day dedicated to focusing on your tulpa, primarily anticipating responses/etc. from them (intent and expectation are really the key to your brain getting the idea of what it's meant to be doing), and whatever amount extra active or passive forcing you want otherwise (I mean, just for interaction's sake like it's all about at the very least, right?). You will make progress faster if you put in more time more often of course, but don't stress out over it, all skills are best learned over time with consistency, not cramming

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Sorry if I asked some repeat questions. I didn't make separate threads because I'm not sure how welcome 4 new topics at once would be. I'll try to do better with posting next time, I don't use forums often. Either way, you've answered everything to my satisfaction. Thanks :-)
