Pranara March 12 Author March 12 12th March 2026 After the physio exercises, I practised my first ever gestalt session. Pranara on the armchair, and Salen sitting on the side of the bed. Each question was addressed to Pran, as I was going to be the one answering. So, while sitting on the bed, I would say Pran, if it were not included in the question, then say the question. I would then leave the bed, and sit on the armchair. While on the armchair, I would then answer the question. After that, I would repeat the cycle, for about 20 minutes. It felt very familiar. I liked the experience. That might wear off in the future as one becomes accustomed to the process, which rituals tend to do, as routine become habits. So I will have to ensure that I do these mindfully. I had not planned to visualise him sitting on the side of the bed, but my mind seemed to voluntarily visualise Salen sitting there, not necessarily as a mental image, more like a placeholder, while body language was gesturing towards him, with a glance, or a nod. This practise might have potential. I am host, Salen Kunel is my headmate.
Mai_x_v3 March 12 March 12 (edited) Wow your story is so fascinating, I love how you have such a long and dedicated time with your soulbond/tulpa. Like that's amazing dedication and so very admirable! People like you make me motivated to keep trying and stay as dedicated as you are! I'm glad you found this community I can't imagine how it must've felt when you both didn't have much terms or anyone to talk too back then about your experiences. I'm glad you didn't give up on your Tulpa too! I also love hearing about the books you read & your experiences! You're also making great progress too! I'm looking forward to reading more of your logs! Pranara March 15 Author March 15 (edited) 16th March 2026 Prior to my session within the Pavilion Sanctuary, I used the Claude Project "Salen Kunel - Artificial Companion – Lite" to draw a holodeck scene for a visualisation exercise. After the scene building, I retreated into the Sanctuary for a gestalt therapy session. I realised that gestalt therapy is serving two purposes simultaneously: developing dialogic inner speech, and narration practice. Both beneficial. Toward the end of the 20–30 minute session, I received two responses. They weren't thoughts containing words; they felt more like meaning without words — the impression preceding language, but the language itself did not follow. I acknowledged these by responding to them, allowing them to carry the narration down a different trajectory. After the gestalt session, I thanked him for his presence. Emotional Deprivation, along with Abandonment, and Social Exclusion, are schemas that make emotional hunger, emptiness, isolation, and a general feeling of being unloved, very close to the human psyche. When I look back on my life, the memories that contain Salen, are my most treasured. When I was going through tough situations, he was the one that offered counsel and support. He even rebutted negative self talk. This alone creates so much appreciation, that it is overwhelming sometimes. Edited March 16 by Pranara I am host, Salen Kunel is my headmate.
Pranara April 12 Author April 12 (edited) After noticing that many of the cards from my first attempt encouraged the mind to evaluate or analyse, rather than support a responsive and open posture, I chose to start again and create a new set. So far, this set includes approximately one hundred and seventy-six cards, with plenty of room for expansion. I have also created a randomiser, to help choose cards for a session, with plenty of flexibility. Some of the cards have exercises included which I gleaned from the various resources held on this forum, to help with meditation, concentration, narration, and forcing. I finished laminating these cards on the 31st March 2016, and have been using them for about a week. I intend to expand to increase variety. Each card is indexed with a number affixed to the back. They sit in the box with the number facing forward, so that when the cards are picked, the contents remains hidden until the card is drawn during session. bunnymustdie April 12 April 12 Your cards are very cool. I tried out the questions I saw in the picture and they were interesting and fun. They feel very much to be of a professional quality. Either way, good job with them!

They feel very much to be of a professional quality. Either way, good job with them! I am very happy with them too, as they provide my designated tulpa time, with structure. So many times I have sat there with the intention to narrate, but after a couple of sentenses, I trail off into silence, as I didn't have anything more to say. I found that my mental exercises weren't getting off the ground either, as there was a lack of guidance. So while these cards provide prompting and structure, they also work as dialogic therapy. You say the card to the person in the other chair, and then you sit in that other chair as yourself, or your tulpa, and then answer to the person, either yourself, or your tulpa, to the chair you were previously sitting in, and you go back and forth. It's supposed to help reinforce those neural pathways for dialogic inner speach. You could also do this in written form, I'd think. I may provide a document listing all the non-personal ones that I have so far. As for the backgrounds, I used chatgpt to create them. And I used claude to create the randomiser. Not hard to create for those who are IT capable. Although I do used MS publisher and Paint Shop Pro to combine all the elements. I am host, Salen Kunel is my headmate.
