Hi all, I'm new to the whole subject of Tulpas and after a few days of mulling it over in my head I decided that I would try my hand at giving one life. But I have a few questions because I've already seemingly messed up and I don't want to give up on her.

1. When you "Hallucinate" (See your Tulpa in real life), are you actually seeing them or is that just in your mind's eye? Say if they were standing in front of a door, would you see the door go thru them if it opened?

2. Assuming yes to the first question, how do you hear your Tulpa? Is it like you'd hear your friend or your parents or is it with your mind's voice?

3. Whilst creating the initial wonderland for my Tulpa and I, I was walking thru it and I made a library with every memory of mine on the bottom shelf while my Tulpa's had her own on the shelf above it. When I was done creating it, I had a brief image pop in to my hand of a girl waving and then when I turned around I saw a girl with black hair and slightly shorter than I am waving at me with a smile (Not a waving motion though).

Is that a forced reaction from the image that popped in to my head or is that what I can assume to be my Tulpa's desired appearance? I have spent no real time creating her appearance how I desired it as I was working on the personality and thinking it over for a few days before I would work on how she looked.

Before the appearance of the girl happened, I received a physical pain on my thumb out of nowhere while I was creating the wonderland. So that is also another worry of mine that it was just a forced reaction.

4. Hopefully like other beginners I have messed up in giving their Tulpa life, I often times forgot to work on her or at the very least talk to her before the past three days. I am scared that this will have a negative impact on her creation or how she feels about me. I've already apologized to her, of course but I'm still worried.

Could any Tulpa comment on that fourth one, please? About how their host/creator might have messed up in the initial creation stage.

Thank you very much in advance if you decide to help me with my questions. I really appreciate it.

1. You usually start with a mind eye, I don't really recommend you deeply getting involved with imposition until you at least get good vocalization. You don't really need it anyway.

2. You start with a mindvoice (sometimes unrecognizable from your own thoughts for the first time), then impose voice onto it.

3. It may aswell be. Give it a try if you don't particularly mind. No opinion on pain in the thumb.

4. It's nothing too serious, just keep going steadily and keep her in mind. Don't overthink it either or she will actually bug you about it. Most stuff like that is depends on your perception, so if you're too worried so will tulpa and vise versa.

1 With hallucination - that is, after imposition - you will be able to see your tulpa as if it were real. However, before you do that you will only be able to see your tulpa in mind's eye.

2 Auditory hallucination - hearing your tulpa as if they were real - is both desirable and achievable. Before that your tulpa will speak with the mindvoice.

3 It's not necessarily your tulpa's desired appearance; likely an 'intrusive thought' but if you like it, or don't mind it, then you may as well use that image as a form. Unless you give a tulpa a form very late on, it's unlikely that they'll be dissatisfied by it.

4 You really can't 'mess up' the start. You can keep going with the current tulpa, because that'll be better in the long run.

A question on auditory hallucination - does it just happen when the time comes, or do you have to focus on imagining tulpa's voice over all the real sounds?

For some it happens, but generally you work on voice yourself. You basically just need some good recognizable voice you can imagine saying whatever you want and then tulpa may easily adopt it.

1. In the beginning, you see them in your mind's eye, and then move onto impostion.

2. Assuming yes to the first question, how do you hear your Tulpa? Is it like you'd hear your friend or your parents or is it with your mind's voice?

Yes, you will be able to hear it as you would a normal person. But, it takes a while, and your tulpa needs to be fully sentient.

3. If you like the form, and she likes the form, go for it.

4. The worst that will happen is that she'll be unhappy, and it'l take a bit longer.
