A Hug & The Hobbit (December 15th, 2012)

Time Spent: 30 Minutes-1 Hour.

Time: 10:00PM-3:00Am

Since the start of the month, I’ve been wanting to read The Hobbit before it came out in theaters, so I could watch the movie and compare. I told Barnaby that I would read it to him a while back but until last night/early this morning, I never got around to it.

As soon as I picked the book up, I got an instant headache.

I headed into wonderland for the first time in a couple of days, and once I opened the front door, I was immediately hugged by Barnaby. I hugged him back, held his shoulders and took a good look at him. Until this point, he’s been 6 inches shorter than me. In the time I was gone, he’s boosted up 4 inches.

I told him that after the Mark thing it was a bit risky coming in and then we sat down on a couch to talk about it.

Once I told him what happened, he said, “I’m sorry.”

His voice had matured. Once being a younger version of Castiel’s voice, it actually matured into his full voice. (I was instantly excited over the height and the voice btw.)

I told him about everything else that happened while I was away and that I was going to start reading The Hobbit.

Since I haven’t gotten him imposed out of the wonderland yet, I had to find a way to read the book mentally, and share it with Barnaby. So, we magiced up the coffee table so it would catch everything and illustrate The Hobbit as I envisioned it.

He grabbed his mug off of the table (I swear, he drinks tea or cocoa or SOMETHING every time I come to wonderland) and I ask if there’s any food in the kitchen for him. He just raises his mug and I’m like, “ok, lets go search the fridge.”

We go in there, I fill up the fridge with fruit, drinks, deserts, things that can be refrigerated, then I look over to the microwave and think, “you know what would be great to have? That microwave from Spy Kids that mega re-hydrated and heated entire meals.” And it appeared! And I made Barnaby amazing, restaurant style food and he went to relax in the living room.

At the time I was very tired, so I told him I was going to nap and then read to him later.

I woke up, talked to whoever in the house for a while, then came back to read to Barnaby. I got through most of the 1st chapter and went to bed. That was sometime just after 3:00AM. I popped in to say goodnight to Barnaby and he seemed to be in a very good mood.

14. Haven’t Seen You in a While Huh? (December 22nd, 2012)

Time Spent: 10-15 Minutes.

Time: 3am

Hello everyone! It’s been a while huh?

Time for an update from Barnaby and I finally.

So, no, the date isn’t wrong, and I’m not posting this as a late, late entry. Until this morning, I haven’t talked to Barnaby in a week. With me, it’s been a busy, busy schedule as well as wondering if I’d even have the time to give to Barnaby. My Boyfriends mom was sick with the flu, which mean’s she was stuck at home, which meant I had to do more than I normally did. Clean the kitchen, help with baking, help with gifts, etc, etc.

Eventually I decided that one, I could never stop having sessions with Barnaby, I love him too much. Two, this whole short on time thing was temporary here so it’d be fine. Three, if I found every way possible to give Barnaby the time of day, even if it continued to be just before bed, eventually we would get to the point where he could be fully imposed out of our wonderland, so he could come along with me wherever I go anytime I wanted him to.

Last night, I contemplated going to him around this time now, but as I laid in bed, I couldn’t take it and went into the wonderland.

My mind tried to screw me over BIG TIME.

To those of you who haven’t been keeping up with this thread, my mind works as an outside force. You know the background noise you always hear in a room when nothings on? Imagine if it could grow louder, and without practice, that continuous buzzing would grow louder and louder until you had to turn on the tv or the radio to try and force it away. Yeah.

When I went in, my mind decided, “you’ve been gone for a while, what if the house was totally wrecked?” So my mind made the house look damaged, with broken windows, scorched shingles, a door half off it’s hinge, etc. For a second I freaked out, but then I looked at the roof and thought, “mind, no, that window doesn’t exist on my house, get your delusion spouting self out of here.”

The house returned to normal, I sighed in relief and floated down to the porch.

Watching my first step up the stairs, I looked up to see Barnaby, arms crossed and glaring down at me. I was happy to see him regardless, so I stepped up and kissed him.

He shoved me away.

I stood there, staring at him, with him still glaring at me:

Then he lost his composure, got his sad puppy-dog face on and hugged me tightly. I smiled and hugged him back, the both of us went into the house and were smiling like idiots.

That’s when I really noticed Barnaby’s appearance.

He was looking more and more like I’d imagined him when I first came up with him. He was taller, his hair was mussed up a bit and reaching his shoulders, and he was in these clothes I originally thought about him in.

I looked him over and ask whether or not he’d been in his owl form that much. He kinda shrugged. I asked if he liked it, he did the same thing. I told him I was sure it’d get easier the more he did it.

We moved to the living room/library and sat, and I asked him if he’d been reading my library (aka, the files on me/my memories/etc.), he shrugged again, so I just laughed thinking, “you take after me so damn much, it’s ridiculous.”

I told him what I’ve been up to in the last week, that I haven’t read any more of “The Hobbit” yet, and then I began to get sleepy. So, I said goodbye to Barnaby, gave him a hug and a kiss and went to bed.

All in all, it was a very good session.

I just need to visit more, and then find a way to keep my mind out of mind.

...this is going to be more challenging than I thought XD

15. Stopping By (December 23rd,2012)

Time Spent: 5 Minutes

Time: Afternoon

I went into the wonderland to say hi to Barnaby and tell him what was going to go on for the day. I set up the table to enable him to see what was going on today, whether I was reading or going about the day.

The day ended up being stressful on my body and emotions, so I’m not really sure how Barnaby reacted.
