FigN01 June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 I've been trying to allow my tulpa to read up on my memories and other subconscious activities of mine, and I know that one method to do this is to give them access to a library of your thoughts. I established a library in the wonderland, but I'm not getting any memory recall that I can be sure I'm not parroting. Am I possibly too early in development to start? Do I need to put more detail into the content of the library? Visualize different formats for reading memories? Just wait for him to volunteer information himself? Or should I just tell him to sit down and study or else I'm giving him detention?
ThatOneGuy June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 You are likely much too early in development for trying to get memories through your tulpa. Clair came up with her own methods for showing memories, so I think it would be good to let your tulpa develop its own methods too. EDIT: Why am I first with these things so often? You guys are kind of slow on the draw sometimes :-/ EDIT2: Actually never mind, I figured it out. You guys actually sleep. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Mercurial June 1, 2012 June 1, 2012 How long have you been working with the tulpa? It may just be too early.
FigN01 June 1, 2012 Author June 1, 2012 I've been working with him for somewhere around 18 hours over the past two weeks. Personality and visualization have come along surprisingly well for me in that span of time, but definitely still need a good deal of work. Given that his sentience and personality is established, but that he doesn't initiate conversation himself, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised that it's too early for this stage right now. I'm probably getting ahead of myself. It's still good to know when it will be appropriate and how it might start though.

At this point you do what FAQ's basic guide says, open your mind to it, lead it through a gate of some sort and.. it's in the guide. Anyways, once you're done with this, THEY will be able to recall your memories, not you. After this point you can work on developing better systems for memory sharing than them just telling you about it, but it's still going to be the tulpa relaying it to you in some way. Also this specific point is, at the earliest, around 50 hours in, most likely past 70.
