So will medication restrict the creating of the Tulpa? I take risperidon for my anxiety and short temper and melatonin for sleeping.

Do you think these two medicines will restrict me a bit from creating a Tulpa?

Anti-anxiety medications shouldn't affect your tulpa, as far as I know. Melatonin isn't even a medication (it's a hormone or something, I think), but that doesn't affect tulpae, either. I take it sometimes; it hasn't caused any problems for us.

Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here:

Host: fennec (they/them)

Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her)

I personally find that my Stattera medication helps me visualize far more easily than if I wasn't using it. But it entirely depends on the medication you're taking.

Melatonin won't affect you. It's a naturally occurring hormone in your body. If you have a deficit, the pill you're taking is only raising your body's level of the hormone back up to its normal, natural level. So don't worry about that one :)

As for Risperidone, I honestly don't know. I'm actually surprised your doctor gave it to you for anxiety; it's mainly prescribed for schizophrenia, and sometimes for bipolar disorder (my cousin took this for her bipolar disorder) I've never heard of it being used for anxiety. I'd imagine this is something you'll have to judge on your own based on how the medication affects your visualization, since any information you'd find online about it is going to be biased towards those with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder.

Adderall. So far, nothing bad from it. Ran out for two days, got sent out of a classroom for giving a teacher the death stare.
