Viski February 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 Over days, I have managed to "see" my tulpa's form better and I can now understand how she looks from all angles, but I cannot actually see it when visualizing. I don't even get blurry outlines or something like that, just a mental image that cannot really be seen. Is vivid visualization required when making a tulpa? Like what would happen if I tried to impose later even if I couldn't ever manage to actually see the form.
Lacquer February 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 Mental image is visualization. You're not having closed eye hallucinations, you're just daydreaming the image of your tulpa. Closed eye hallucination and open eye visualization are the ingredients to be mixed into open-eye hallucination to create imposition. And that's just for sight. http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Visualization-JD1215-s-Guide-to-Visualization http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Visualization-Rasznir-s-Tulpa-Visualization-Guide http://tulpa.info/guides/chupi-visualization-guide.html http://tulpa.info/guides/phi-open-eye-visualization.html http://tulpa.info/guides/concentration_exercise.html read up Also, quick: Think of a carrot in a box. What does that carrot look like? You just visualized the carrot.
Viski February 26, 2013 Author February 26, 2013 Closed eye hallucination and open eye visualization are the ingredients to be mixed into open-eye hallucination to create imposition. So I'm supposed to have closed eye hallucinations instead of just visualization? And open eye visualization means you imagine them to be next to you even though you cannot actually see them yet? I've read some guides but I'm still a little confused. Does the training of closed eye visualization eventually lead to closed eye hallucinations? Also as I meant in the starting post, is the achiement of vivid closed eye hallucinations a requirement for successful imposition?
Lacquer February 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 I just mean that the mechanics behind CEH would probably be somewhat related to imposition. Feel free to ignore that bit, I just pulled that from conjecture as I posted it.
fennecfoxx February 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 I don't even get blurry outlines or something like that, just a mental image that cannot really be seen. That is visualization, and that's all you need. Deluded myself into believing my imaginary friends were real, then deluded myself into thinking they weren’t. Whatever the case, the OG gang’s still here: Host: fennec (they/them) Tulpas: Alex (he/him) and Kayleigh (she/her) Delete all memories of those who know my awkward past
waffles February 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 Yes, you 'see' them as a mental image. Like if I talk to you about an Indian elephant and you 'see' an elephant (that one never gets old). That's all you need for imposition. That said, as a point of clarification, to simply make a tulpa, you don't need to do any visualisation. It's just highly recommended because it helps a lot and is necessary to impose. But that's not to say that you need to do imposition.
