Ithilia March 22, 2013 Author March 22, 2013 As much as I am thankful for your concern, Lacquer, I cannot help but feel hurt by these words. After all, it is not everyday that I get to know my English is so bad that people who read posts written by me think I need to have my head checked. It would seem that not using a language for 3 years outside of browsing Internet and posting in it does not go together. Well, at least I know now why I don't get many views here...it's not my stories that are boring, it's just my poor linguistic skills. Oh, and Isley keeps bugging me to add his two pennies' worth so I'll let him write that down too. Isley: I apologize for my host. I know you wrote that comment out pure worry for her well-being, and that I am grateful for. However, she's a spoiled little brat so she takes everything too personally. I hope you were not offended by her outburst.
Lacquer March 22, 2013 March 22, 2013 It was a joke based on the fact that I hate emoticons. Don't sweat it. You type English better than quite a few native speakers.
Ithilia March 23, 2013 Author March 23, 2013 I see, my bad. Guess I really need to work on self-distance. Well, back to writing on topic in progress report! We've been trying to do switching but have yet to see positive results. The most we can do using the forceful method is me seeing flashes of light and moving my consciousness to wonderland for a split second. This is why I decided to take my time learning the proper method described in guides. I went with the one instructing the host to gradually override the sensations from real world by the ones from wonderland. I started with hearing, while Isley was possessing my body. I have to admit, it was quite difficult. Maybe we are really trying to do switching too early. Anyway, I didn't manage to master hearing yet. I assessed that it would take from 2 to 3 weeks to master feeling my wonderland body better than the real one, fortunately we are not in hurry. Another thing that happened recently is connected both with switching and interacting with my tulpa in my dreams. Tonight, after we fell asleep when Isley was possessing my body, we were trying to switch while dreaming...when both of us were unaware of the fact we were not awake (well, Isley did realize that - at the very end of the dream). The funny thing is, we managed to switch our mindvoices so that Isley's was the dominant one! Shame it was just in a dream though. Despite our failures this far, we will be working hard to achieve switching. We're really excited and hopeful now that we know we can do even just a little progress in our dreams!
