blueflame789 April 27, 2013 April 27, 2013 Its kind of hard for me to visualuze things just standing still doing nothing, so if Im walking or something Ill visualize my tulpa walking next to me. Or Ill visualize it sitting next to me just looking around or something. Does this count as parroting?
waffles April 27, 2013 April 27, 2013 If you'll look below, you'll find this gem, which would have come up if you'd used the search engine conveniently built in to the forum: http://tulpa.info/forums/Thread-Visualization-Easier-When-Parroting If by 'parroting' - talking for your tulpa - you mean 'puppeting' - moving for your tulpa - and by 'does it count as puppeting' you mean 'is it detrimental', then no. Moving your tulpa can help with visualisation, even if they aren't moving themselves. It's not detrimental if you know you're doing it, and in this case you are. So that's all good. And if you'll look to the left of your fourth finger on your right hand, you'll see the apostrophe key conveniently built into your keyboard.
Kiahdaj April 27, 2013 April 27, 2013 Similar to what waffles said, puppeting isn't inherently bad. So yes, you are puppeting, but it's fine. Like everything else in this process, if you think it'll be fine, it'll be fine. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
