Kaz with a K July 27, 2013 July 27, 2013 at least my questions aren't dumb and repetitive? So I was wondering if emotional energy is somehow connected to Tulpa's growth. Like, if you got like really sad, or something, and you cried hard and deeply, would it empower your Tulpa with your "sad energy"? I kinda understand that's how sigils work in Chaos magick, but could there be any correlation? From personal experience, I felt that one day after a rough time from earlier in that day, my emotional energy was somehow "strong enough" to transfer to Adryan as growth, and that began a sort of chain reaction which lead to me ultimately hearing Adryan better. The most I know about sigils is that you also need to power them with energy. Maybe I'm just making an impossible connection? Err, tl;dr is it possible to use emotional energy to encourage Tulpae growth, and is this somehow connected to Sigils in chaos magick? Err, tl;dr is it possible to use emotional energy to encourage Tulpae growth, and is this somehow connected to Sigils in chaos magick? Yes it's possible to induce emotions with our tulpa, since after all, when we're treating them as sentient, we have the assurance that they have a sensory awareness (and consciousness obviously) that can keep growing as the days, weeks, months, and years progress. Sentience doesn't drop down like an atom bomb (even when you treat them as sentient to be competent to sense emotional "energy" and what have you), it needs to be dragged out because just like how the unconscious mind tries to connect the dots so that host and tulpa can interact with each other on an emotional level, the same goes for our tulpa being able to grow and mature with emotions without much of our input It's fairly obvious that when a tulpa is able to have strong emotional feelings backed with their ability with sapience, they will be able to develop faster than lack of interest to have emotions, and when the host exhibits and demonstrates the same intentions, they both go through higher shifts in paradigms, a metamorphosis that people would interpret as transcendental, mystical, spiritual, and/or whatever type of upbringing and/or belief system have. And how it's expressed through our bodies, we either get pleasant chills behind our spines that could either be frisson and the feelings we get with head and peripheral regions (Autonomous sensory meridian response). Emotions are clearly important, especially when using hypnosis, meditation or whatever, since after all, the words you express like (but not limited to): - "I feel like" - "I know this" -"How would if feel if you..." They tend to force your unconscious mind to dig through and finding moments that can match and mirror to the occasion you're trying to reach. The more you practicing inducing the transderivational search with your mind (when you have strong feelings where you can't really put into words), the faster it gets at making those neurological connections to give you whatever moment you want with your tulpa and their personal growth. It gets to the point where the host and tulpa can moderate psychosomatic self-control and learning how to let things happen without "trying." This is what people will eventually reach with enough practice and devotion with their tulpa, and it only continues getting better. Which is why when people can get down certain tulpa-related techniques and have it ingrained, it's merely a challenge of "Do" or "Don't do." So yes, emotions contribute significantly to a tulpa's growth, it augments how they have and utilize sapience, sentience, unconscious competence, and so many factors in unison to get the underlying meaning behind them and reaching states of self-actualization. EDIT: And as for your "Sigils in chaos magick," that's solely dependent on your personal beliefs. If you feel it leads to that, then you'll build psychological, emotional, and other types of predispositions to cater to your desire to think it's that. That's based on you developing experiential truth, not really objective truth with how the mind and body works. broadwaypianos August 4, 2013 August 4, 2013 I'd definitely say so. I've been creating Chris since last November with small increments of success. It wasn't until I shared a specific emotion that I was feeling (in this case, sadness), did I get to experience that emotion from him. Before that, I'd only experienced what others consider to be negative emotions from Chris (e.g. frustration, anger, contempt) . It was only just yesterday that I felt him being sad at a scene from a movie I was watching.
