Venomnomnom August 24, 2013 August 24, 2013 Well, I've decided to create a tulpa. So far I've just been visualizing her appearance as Nagato-san. I don't see very much progress, but I have a very active imagination, so she's pretty easy to visualize. I don't really know how to make a wonderland, but I've been trying to think of what mine'll look like, and so far I'm thinking of a ginormous tree house. I'm planning on naming my tulpa Nyanki. If she wants another name, I'd gladly give it to her, but I don't really know what she wants. I don't really have much else to say.. Kbye :3 EDIT: I changed it to L Lawliet on 8-25-13 Name: Nyanki Progress: Able to hear and see him.
BlackMuffin August 24, 2013 August 24, 2013 I don't really know how to make a wonderland Just so you know, most people will tell you that your wonderland should be someplace that you look forward to going to so you can in turn look forward to actual tulpaforcing. That's very important because if you don't have a positive attitude while going into a forcing state then that'll affect Nyanki, especially since she's so early in development. However, just so you know, wonderlands are NOT necessary for everyone, so if you want to just force inside of an empty space then that's fine if it works for you. Of course, if you want a wonderland anyway then by all means go right ahead. It helps for a lot of people. As for actually creating your wonderland, you can actually just create it any way you like. You can start off small and just focus on a small patch of grass or a building and force from there, letting you and your tulpa work out the rest of the wonderland at a later date, or start off with a larger area and getting that defined by repetitive visualization until you can walk around in there without really having to think twice about what your wonderland looks like. Personally I'd recommend starting with the small area, but if you want to roam around in this little world of yours for a little while then go ahead and start with a larger area. If you find yourself having trouble with coming up with an idea for a wonderland, then you can just let your mind 'wander' a little and think it up itself. (this may not work for you, but it generally does for me when I'm trying to come up with ideas for anything) I'm looking forward to seeing how your tulpa develops in time. owo
Shui August 24, 2013 August 24, 2013 This post has some information on making wonderlands. The link on "Magical Places" is particularly good. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"

That's some really good advice! Thank you :D @Shui Thanks so much! ^^ @Shui Thank so much! ^^ Name: Nyanki Progress: Able to hear and see him.
Venomnomnom August 31, 2013 Author August 31, 2013 Well, Nyanki's form ended up being L Lawliet. I've been tulpaforcing for 5 days, with almost no breaks.. Since I have an *extremely* vivid imagination, and a nice little quiet place with no distractions, 5 days really has gotten me *lots* farther than I thought it would. The breaks were usually just quick meals I ate in about 10 minutes, bathroom breaks, and sleep. I decided extend my bed time a bit, because I wanted to continue tulpaforcing. My bed time is now 3:00am. I set my alarm for 10:00pm. I also tulpaforced a bit 2 days before I decided no breaks. So far I've tulpaforced for 50 hours, added the two days I tulpaforced for 5 hours. 50+5+5=60, so I've put 60 hours into tulpaforcing. It may seem a bit extreme, so I'm sorry. So far I can see him, and hear him. I finally have a friend, and I'm happy. :D Name: Nyanki Progress: Able to hear and see him.
BlackMuffin August 31, 2013 August 31, 2013 ...how has your head not exploded by now? To be honest, I'm having a hard time believing that you've been actively forcing all that time with few breaks. Seriously, I get nasty headaches if my count in a day goes past an hour and a half. I haven't been forcing for that long, so I understand if it gets easier with time and I'm just a massive noob, but having forced a total of roughly 60 hours over a period of 120 hours sounds a little too good to be true. Of course, if you're ACTUALLY telling the truth here and you have forced all that time, then it really shouldn't come as a surprise that Nyanki's already vocal. If Nyanki hadn't become vocal after 60 hours then I'd be legitimately worried. Anyways, from now on try not to force TOO often. I don't know what you do in your private life or if you ever need to leave your home in the first place, but if you've got responsibilities other than your tulpa then you should certainly figure out how to spread the time between forcing and real-world responsibilities. But that's just how I see things. I've got a lot of stuff that I need to do in the first place (I should probably be getting to that right now rather than screwing around on this forum :X), and I've got things I like to do in my free time other than narration and otherwise Tulpaforcing. HOWEVER, do NOT take what I just said as me trying to discourage you from forcing for long periods of time if that's what you're actually truthfully doing. Everyone's different, so if that's what works for you then go right ahead and do what you like. Don't let me stop you. Seriously. In truth, if you're being completely honest and Nyanki is actually vocal and formed already, then congratulations! You're about a week in and already you've achieved something that takes most people roughly 1 1/2 - 2 weeks' worth of forcing to accomplish. Chuul's not vocal yet, but that's because I'm not able to spend that much time with him (I'm particularly susceptible to concentration headaches ;-; ). Whatever, I'm rambling now. Good luck.
