No, you don't have to do things like that. As far as creation goes, a general rule of thumb is "Your mind will fill in the blanks".

Like he said, there really isn't a need to do that unless you really want to practice doing it for, say, visualization or imposition purposes. It isn't necessary, so don't feel any obligation to have to create walk cycles for your tupper or anything like that, but remember that it helps to imagine what they would look like. I personally suggest drawing your tulpa and/or it's skeletal structure in different positions to help your mind process how this new thing will be moving around.
