Newbie here.

So I recently started forming my tulpa. I've been going for about 1 1/2 days now, and even in a busy teenager life, I've managed to log about three hours so far.

Now this is where it starts to get weird. I know for a fact communication, even that of an emotional level, wont happen for a good while yet. But what happened was earlier today, I was finishing up a forming session with my tulpa (was going through the personality traits), and went to give it a hug in my mindscape. It only has a basic 'orb' form at the moment, since i'll be letting it/she/he decide it's own more permanent form.

But when I went to give it a hug, I think it talked to me? I was saying something at the time, and it seemed to parrot it in an electronic-like voice. Even only a few minutes later, the memory of it is vauge, and I cannot for the life of me remember what I said, or how my tulpa. if it was responding, sounded accurately.

Secondly, I tried to do some more sessions with it earlier, but my mind kept getting heavily distracted, or would deviate from a thought or image I was presenting to the tulpa. am I subconsciously not wanting a tulpa? or am I just tired?

any help and advice would be great please.

Weird things can happen in your imagination, and it's not a big deal if they do. It might or might not have been your tulpa; no-one but yourself can tell you. Either way, it doesn't really matter.

You're just tired or not concentrating properly.

thanks. just kinda startled me, and well, stuff happened.

Something similar happened to me about four hours after forcing. It was a robotic, almost auto-tuned sounding, voice I heard from a place my mindvoice doesn't emanate, which also startled me. This happened a good number of months ago and I've never heard it since.

any help and advice would be great please.

Here's my advice: You're at a day and a half into creation and there's not a single thing in the whole wide world you should be worrying about. It's possible you tulpa said something, it's probable it didn't and completely irrelevant either way. Just keep on forcing and narrating. Your tulpa will either keep talking or not talk again for some time and your response is to keep forcing and narrating for both of those scenarios.

Update on last. I'm 99% percent sure it WAS my tulpa talking, seeing as it's happened another two times whilst actively forcing. Although the blurry memory is still there. Electronic voice, feels like its on the edge of my brain, but always happens when im in a semi-stupor during narration. Ideas?

how do you sit there and talk to yourself for so long. Should i just say screw it and go work on it. I usually just narrate to my tulpa for a few min (not timed) each day.

I honestly don't know, but it seems to be working. Even 20min sessions two or three times a day works for me. Lay on my bed, get comfy, talk. I find active forcing easier than passive forcing. Speaking of whichm I should probs do a session now.

yeah i just spent about an hour on my tulpa. I wrote down some characteristics for her personality. Eleven of them to be exact. I also drew out a sketch of our wonderland. Added a few things, like a bench for us to sit on and some mountains in the background. Also a swing for when she gets bored lol. Theres a big lake but idk if she swims in it or not ha. I also wrote down directly towards Kuru telling her she can change as much as she wants. I ended up adding some more facial features too like eyes, they look like anime eyes id say. Also that she is furry but soft. Yellow with brown stripes and purple ears now and purple eyes. I also narrated to her about what a snowboard is and that its an activity i do. Told her about my favorite anime and then played the game trying to get her to watch. Whether or not she did i dont know lol.

Am i doing this right?? ;)

that's excellent. I find a good hour a day usually helps. Start each session by seeing if you can get a response form her (ask to apply pressure somewhere, surge of emotion, move a finger etc) Then just go from there. Write a log about what you do, how you felt, and any responses gained from her. You need to put yourself in the mind-set that you're not creating her, more seeing her as she's already existed all this time.

Hope this helps.
