What do you mean by subjective? Just not like.. duty-ethics set? (I don't remember the actual term, it basically means that despite specific circumstances, X is always the way to go.. very stupid set, dunno how anyone could seriously embody that unless they were a... robot. Programmed.)

By subjective decision-making, I mean the capability to make decisions based on the entire situation and projected possibility. Maybe "subjective" isn't the best word. What you said sums it up pretty well too though.
