Perfectly possible. It may be even because you're in a perfect mental state to make a tulpa. You've done the research, know what you're getting into, believe all this is real, ready for the time commitment... everything added together creates a very ideal tulpa-forcing environment, and that can speed up your process immensely ^^ Also, the everyone-is-different thing applies too. For some it's easy, for others it's hard. I wouldn't say it's common to have such fast process, but it's not like it's so rare it's note-worthy.

I say keep going, help him/her gain sentience, vocality, form, the works ^^

Since what you've stated implies you're new to this, you'll be going through a lot of methods/techniques/processes/etc. to try and get the general idea of how to go about creating a tulpa.

Focusing on your shortcomings and criticizing your own progress while you're in progress will eventually end up in you having doubt and potentially developing incongruent thoughts. If you want the mind to make the connections to presumably make a tulpa real to you and your perception of reality, you must acknowledge to yourself as much as possible that any progression is better than no progression at all.

Don't get disappointed at what seems to be a shortcoming or a failure, just keep repeating the methods. A concept you may want to consider is to try to schedule some time to force. And during that time when forcing, don't focus on trying to analyze anything too much. Just try it out for a few days, and then after that, then you make the analysis of your progress.

Find which parts you need to work on, and focus on what you're getting better at conceptualizing. Saving the criticism and analysis for later and focusing more on having an urgency of doing with repetition, repetition, and more repetition will eventually help the mind connect.

Because once these things click, they become a part of you forever. By then, you'll have an easier time conceptualizing the Frankenstein collection of methods and techniques you're trying to comprehend in your initial stages.
