If it were entirely without light, someone could impose their wonderland on it perhaps, and changing their perception of reality to fit what happens ie meals being put inside.

Now I have to go and make a tulpa called Wilson and go and live on an uncharted island for a month. But I would imagine that it would help deal with the crushing loneliness, and in the case of a prison lockup the extreme boredom because of the wonderland. Hell, any time spent locked up would be made better with a tulpa or two and a wonderland.

After a few days of no human interaction, most people will start to hallucinate. This was tested with a few people awhile back, and half of them suffered from hallucinations within the first two days. A lot of countries use this as a form of torture now instead of hitting the prisoner. After no interaction for awhile, they'll be happy to talk to anybody about anything.

Despite this, no interaction would most likely hinder tulpaforcing, since you'll be hearing birds chirping in the room and ants will be crawling all over the walls, along with some asshole whispering in your left ear half the time. Sort of hard to concentrate. Also, there's a difference between hallucinations and sane hallucinations. Sensory deprivation would be a hallucination. Once you start getting interaction again, it'll go away. Tulpa are sane hallucinations, and they are relatively permanent.

So now when somebody says, ">2012 >making yourself insane", you can tell them that tulpa are sane hallucinations. That'll show em`.

You've made me want to cut my self off from absolutely every one and everybody in the dark for a few days now, Phi.

Make sure to pack food and water, and sound proof those walls.

I want to experience true solitude at least once in life.
