SilencerSIN January 22, 2014 January 22, 2014 So before I attempted to create a tulpa, I tried lucid dreaming, but never achieved it. My practice at WILD and other methods did give me a little head start on meditation practice etc. , but when I wake up sometimes, I would forget my dreams. (really bad dream recall). But I found, by asking my tulpa to help me remember my dream when I go to bed, I wake up with memories of about 2-3 dreams throughout the night. Just something I found, thought I would share. So try and ask your tulpa to remember your dreams, could help you achieve lucidity. I don't know if this would work for everyone, but I imagine it would. :)
CyberD January 22, 2014 January 22, 2014 Yeah, lots of people do stuff like this. A quick search will yield you helps of results. I created my tulpa to help with lucid dreaming. When I started I didn't even know what a tulpa was, it was part of another technique. With a bit of focus it worked. That was ages ago. Since then I've had plenty of dreams and remembered many of them. If I still focused on remembering and writing down all of them I'm sure I'd be great at it. That said my tulpa has helped me in all aspects of dreaming. I recall a lot of details in dreams that feature him and a lot of my lucid dreams feature him or are because of his presence.
LukeDude759 January 22, 2014 January 22, 2014 Ironically, attempting the WILD technique always gives me insomnia. Not sure why :/ "Don't listen to friends when the friend inside you says 'Do this.'" -Gandhi Tulpa Name: Ellie Created: 11/13/13
waffles January 27, 2014 January 27, 2014 I've always thought that visualisation, especially closed-eye, makes dreams more vivid and eventually causes lucidity. I'm pretty sure there's a correlation but it might be something else about tulpa creation that causes lucidity; of course most people do visualisation. I'm not as faithful in the kind of 'tulpa magic' approach you take. There's always the power of expectation to play a part, and then some other more concrete tulpa-related factor like I said above.
The-Syreth-Clan January 29, 2014 January 29, 2014 We decided to start something called "Project Martina". It is basically people giving me ideas of things I could do with Martina while lucid dreaming. Yester-night was my first atempt, as my friend pizza as the ultimate medium that can bring people together. It worked. I could talk a lot with her and I know her favourite too, I guess.
