Imposition seems to be my best way to visualize?

Recommended Posts

I've done about 10 hours of tulpaforcing. I'm definitely making progress, but so far visualization is still a bit of a challenge. I've found it works best for me to picture her standing in front of me or in my room with my eyes open, to imagine her right there. But as I understand it, that is imposition, and is a different step in the process. Would it mess things up if I tulpaforced by picturing her in the room with me? Would it impose her as an empty shell?

Oh, one more thing. I'm having trouble with her height staying consistent, which also seems to fix itself when I impose her around me. When do most people get their tulpa's height correct?

When I first started this, my visualization was subpar at best, but practice really does make perfect, and you will get much better and the hours build on.

If you haven't read it yet, Phi wrote a decent guide called The mind's eye and the other two. While it doesn't speak directly of imposition, it's based on the idea that it is much easier to visualize with your eyes open.

Worst-case scenario with what you're doing: You'll end up with a "hologram" or "servitor" imposed; however, I'm beginning to think more and more that such phenomena can be converted to a sentient and sapient tulpa in time anyway.

I think the big difference between open and closed eyes is with closed eyes you can create a wonderland and a "perfect" environment to force in. I am currently working on my second tulpa and I am forcing with my eyes open to see if I this combination of visualization (form creation) and Imposition will work. So far so good.

The only thing I find is that it is alot easier to become distracted and lose that feel of "deepness" while forcing.
