It is completely unbearable: I parrot and puppet my tulpa almost every time I interact with her. I know these are not her reactions, because I know. They don't feel like hers at all, though they are often followed by some emotional responses.

So, what should I do? I probably shouldn't imagine her standing absolutely still, because by that I could block her real responses and actions, but every time I weaken the control of my attention, these unintentionally puppeted moves occure. Meditating before the forcing session doesn't really help.

If that matters: I'm only 6 hours in. I mean, I started to force 2,5 years ago, though I was never able to force regularly due to my weak will, doubts, and my disappointing progress.

So, any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this helps, but someone told me that puppeting/parroting is a 100% conscious action. It boosted my confidence immensely and pretty much stopped all of my doubt. Since belief tends to have a huge effect on tulpas, it really helped me :D

Hope this was helpful :P If not, sorry :P But anyway good luck!

Markus is the tulpa, and I don't really have anything else to say.

Thanks, Lucas! Actually, I've heard that too, but I can't really agree with it. I mean, such thing as unintentional parroting really exists. It's more like, dunno, roleplaying, I guess.

I know it because I've heard Holo's real voice. It wasn't much - she was just saying my name. But the same second I heard it I knew all our previous verbal communication was "just me". And I don't believe that parroting was Holo's actual voice - what's the point of having a tulpa then?

The fact that you've heard Holo's real voice just goes to show that it IS possible to hear her! I'm not sure how long it'll take for it to happen on a regular basis, but the fact that you were able to hear her and know that it was her is a huge deal! Now that I think of it, I agree with a lot of the stuff that you've said in this post and I think I might have been doing the same... I'd heard of unintentional parroting but I'd kind of actively ignored it. Thanks for helping me realize that I'm doing it though. It's better to realize that I'm doing it than to pretend that I'm not. Anyway, as for how I plan on attacking the situation, I'm going to just keep forcing with Markus until I know that what I hear is her voice... Not sure what else there is to do really :P

I totally agree and I'm glad I helped! Although, this unintentional parroting is still kinda distracting. The problem is that I can't ignore it! Maybe it offends Holo; maybe I'll have a fancy of this parroting stuff and won't be able to recognize her real voice in the future... And on the whole, parroting is really annoying and distracting.

Yet I can't stop it or ignore it, so the real question is: how do I overcome it?

These are all questions that I've asked myself and I've talked to Markus about them. It's true that it's hard to ignore but I'm sure it can be overcome. As for how to actually do it, I've got no clue. I guess I'll just keep talking to her and eventually things will turn normal again, I'm sure. :P
