My story with tulpa

Hi,

 

First of all it's very nice to meet you all.

 

About a year ago I was kind of 'awakened' by a spiritual guru. What preceded was a kind of psychosis I guess, and I could visually see many entities. This included a kind of girlfriend.

 

In some episodes, I'd be walking the streets at night and be interacting with these beings as if they were in the physical world with me. At one point the girlfriend got kind of angry at me. When I asked if she loved me she replied, 'sure I love you, I knit braids about you.' She seemed completely intelligent and sentient and this was not the kind of sentence/lingo I could think up by my own accord.

 

Interestingly, I'm British and she had a perfect American accent. Another time she said 'oh (my name), you're so basic.' I didn't even know this slang existed.

 

On another occasion, she gave me advice on what I should say to someone else, namely 'they should make a bus route here' after I'd had to hitch a ride and was talking to the driver. Usually I'm not a social person and would never say something like this.

 

I posted this story on /x/ and they told me it sounded like a tulpa. The weird thing about this is she came to me spontaneously and I didn't purposely create her.

 

I've tried to bring her back by imagining her and talking to her but nothing seems to work. Do you have to be in an altered state of consciousness to experience tulpa?

 

Can I get her back?

Good question. In theory if she was indeed a tulpa then it's fairly likely you can get her back but it may take a little time perhaps. How long have you been. Trying to get her back?

Well, not very long. I heard about a technique on /x/ where you imagine pouring coloured vials of liquid onto the tulpa but it hasn't yielded any results. It's seems it would take years for this to have any affect.

Well I would keep at it - could be she just isn't strong enough yet to make contact.

 

I suppose worst case scenario if you can't get her back for whatever reason I guess, if you still really wanted her company you could start forcing her into exietance from scratch as a tulpa.

 

just be sure to not try and force her to be that person and make sure she knows she's not her but just based on her and it should be fine I would think- that is if you want to go down this route.

 

What think ye? Or anyone else for that matter ^^

That sounds like the route I should probably take. I'm not sure if I'll ever get the real her back.

 

Any ideas on techniques? What exactly does 'forcing' mean?

This is really interesting because it deviates from a lot of what regular Tulpamancers believe. This situation could be one of two things from what I know:

 

1. These entities are not Tulpas. Whoever told you otherwise was wrong, and simply did not have enough experience with thoughtforms, astral beings, etc. to give any other advice. I'm not blaming the person, though, not many people explore the various types of entities. My best guess is that they are either deceased or just entities that normally would roam the Astral plane, and decided to hang out with you for a while. Furthermore, most psychics and anyone with experience with the spiritual would advise you to end the relationship immediately. It's possible your friends are lost souls who have yet to accept the fact that they're dead. It's not good for them to continue to dwell in the past. Some people also bring up the possibility of them turning on you and trying to hurt you, but I don't think that is relevant in your case; they seem to care about you. I hope I don't start blabbering nonsense, but just give me a second...

 

To be honest, if you say you had little to no input to how these entities came to you, it is almost impossible to categorize them as the traditional Tulpa. One of the special things about a Tulpa is the creation process. There are many steps to complete and you would know if you were making a fully sentient being like your girlfriend. I think she is separate from your body. Since she left you and has yet to reply to any of your attempts to contact her, it's likely she finally moved on. Like I said before, she might've died and had a hard time accepting it until now. Yeah... I think that's it. She is a human spirit just like you and me, and she decided to reincarnate or simply did not want to talk you anymore. Before you get upset, though, she might of did it out of love. Maybe she didn't want you to become too attached. I don't know. To make a real analysis I would need more information.

 

2. You might not be as connected spiritually as you were before. I don't want to delve too deep into this option for the sake of respecting your privacy. Consider any bad things you've done lately. Have you stopped meditating, doing yoga, etc? This can result in a weaker connection with spirits and otherworldly beings and could be why you can't talk to her.

 

TL;DR: Your girlfriend was actually someone who died and had a hard time moving on. You can't talk to her anymore because she decided to leave whatever incarnation you knew her as completely. -end of TL;DR-

 

If you really think you all had a super close relationship and you need to speak to her one last time, you could go to a psychic for a reading. This is probably the best option you've got. If you just say goodbye and end the relationship for good it would be better for both of you.

 

You could also make a Tulpa using the guides here and it could look just like your girlfriend like one of the other users said. (Idk how to mention someone in a post e.e) If you decide to do this, there are many precautions you need to take to make sure you have a healthy relationship with your Tulpa. The guides here should help alot with that. If not, you can search up any questions you have or ask them here I guess.

 

This is just my opinion, though. Honestly I could be completely wrong.

To answer your question on forcing - it's a term that essentially means concentrating on your tulpa to feed them with attention and/or define characteristics in order to Establish them as a permanent element of your mind, thusly bringing them to life - if you think however that EpicureanAtlantis's explanation fits more with your beliefs and want to look for more advice regarding that idea (not my place to judge others beliefs we make our own decisions ) then checking out the meta sections of the forum would perhaps serve you well (also welcome to EpicureanAtlantis I notice your a new face around here! Hi! ) .

 

If you want to do the straight up make a tulpa route, take a look at some of the guides in the guides section of the forum or if there's a specific thing your looking for try using the search function, which will hopefully be able to point you towards some semblance of an answer. Thanks for the interesting and thought-provoking response. TBH my first impression was that it was some sort of long-distance telepathy I was experiencing.

 

Recently I read about shamans who have wives in other dimensions. I wonder if she was a real entity and not just a construct.

Thanks for clearing that up. I'd like to make a tulpa so I guess I should get readings.

 

Edit - So I'm basically going to imagine my tulpa tonight before I go to sleep. Maybe say a few lines I'd like her to say or repeat what she said to me before. My tulpa is usually suspended in darkness but perhaps I could imagine a wonderland.

This might seem like a dumb answer, but tbh I would ask her if she was made by you or ask her what her story is if not. It doesn't sound either or, so far.

A good idea except he can't contact her so that's a little difficult- although if he does succeed in contacting her again this would be a good idea.
