when do i put a form on my tulpa?

my tulpa only looks like a orb but i wanna make it look like a dragon so when do i change the tulpa?

In my opinion you can put on the form whenever you want, if your tulpa don't appreciate the look of a dragon later on it can change it by itself.

And also if your tulpa is gonna learn how to express itself with emotions and body language it would be easier to have a form to use, like a dragon.

Pretty much what Elvode said. You can give them a form whenever- if they don't like it they'll change it.
