Wake Back To Bed is the easiest/most reliable way to get lucid (or at least vivid) dreams, but the downsides are 1, you have to be able to fall back asleep (adjust your awake time based on what works for you, it could be getting up and getting a drink and going back to bed, or it could be just standing up for 5 seconds and lying back down lol), and 2, if that's the only thing you're doing then you'll still be relying on a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (recognizing you're dreaming mid-dream), so it won't be full length like a WILD But I never had any success with any method except DILD and WBTB so..

Oh, that is what I meant to mean. Well I guess both applies, if I say DB/Dragon Ball I am referring to pre-Z, however referring to the series as a whole as Dragon Ball is fine too (what you should do, really) Someone just mentioned they were "watching dragon ball" and I was like oh? and then they said vegeta and I was like oh, not oh. I was saying that I prefer to refer to each series individually (DB, DBZ, GT, DBS or Super*) but I feel like unless I just say DBZ no one will know what I'm referring to without context (also referring to Z as "Dragon Ball" is just wrong imo unless you're committing to a watchthrough of the whole franchise, but, they weren't, they were only watching Z) * I forgot what the other one was called

my system usually says db or dragonball, but long ago if you were to do that with a normie, they'd either think you are referring to specifically the pre Z portion of the show, or ask "do you mean dragonball z" i think more people now know that dragonball refers to the IP as a whole and that there is no DBZ manga, cuz it is DRAGONBALL from chapter one where goku meets bulma all the way to the end of buu and the epilogue (good chance a random person irl doesn't know what a manga is or that dbz is even from japan, though. it doesn't register as an anime to people who don't know anything about that stuff) 30 yr old friend of tb from middle school only like a few months ago learned that goku and others aren't white and that a lot of dbz characters are coded as being chinese hi! i saw you want to live in a cave. understandable. that's what tayomi does (my progenitor or whatever) i have to stop typing so mitski can concentrate on her resurrection ritual. she's trying to meditate (mechanical keyboard)

It's just the recognizability to me, I want to refer to DB as DB and DBS as DBS but I don't think people automatically know what I'm referring to compared to saying DBZ

As a fun bonus, we've decided that one should build the list for the other (so Cheryl wrote mine, and I wrote hers): Cheryl: Friendly, Disciplined, Nurturing, Cat Person, Proper Matt: Loner, Hates the Outdoors, Computer Whiz, Workaholic, Never Nude Cheryl notes that there's no "overthinker" trait which would suit me best, but the ones she chose are fairly accurate (especially the "never nude" one, based off a true story)

We recently enjoyed recreating ourselves in The Sims 3, and found it fun and challenging to try to accurately capture our personalities using the game's trait system. For those who are unfamiliar, the game allows you to select up to five traits for each sim. We only have the base game, which includes the traits listed here. The expansion packs add more traits, which can all be found here. Our chosen traits are listed under the spoiler below. What traits would you assign yourself/your headmates?

While we were on our trip, I realized that I've never played The Sims 3 with my headmates, despite it being one of my favorite games. Naturally I had to correct this grievous oversight ASAP! We all had a great time creating our sim-selves and seeing how they interacted with each other. As with most character creators, Lenore was the easiest to get right. There wasn't really an accurate hairstyle option for her but her face turned out absolutely perfect! I'll keep the images spoilered so this post isn't too gigantic. Being nonhuman, Athelas and Calliope were obviously harder to capture, but we made it work. This is a pretty accurate depiction of what we call Tea's "human costume." We've had a few dreams where he looks like this. And now, for the first time ever, we present Calliope's human costume! We wanted them to look like Athelas's punk-ass younger sibling and I think we succeeded. Our sims' interactions have been pretty amusing. Apparently my sim thinks Cal and Athelas are super hot, because she gets an "Attracted" moodlet whenever she's around them (having them around does boost my mood irl, lol). Lenore and Athelas are dating (I don't think we ever announced it, but they are actually a couple now!) and she can't keep her hands off him. My sim quickly became besties with Athelas, bonding over their shared love of the outdoors. Meanwhile, Cal and Lenore bonded over making fun of us. All in all, pretty accurate!

Girls nowadays seem to be more towards the "will wait for your move" but to someone who's used to attention it might feel like a lack of interest. In the end he asked her out and they're going to a restaurant tomorrow, all is well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Many colleagues (the more extroverted ones) were saying the same thing. I for example couldn't get myself to do that even while drunk - it's not that I don't have the courage, but my introvertedness makes me second-guess every move I make and I'm always afraid of "being annoying and out of place" - meanwhile I know someone that literally hooked up with a girl and his first approach (I was there) was: "you're really short, how old are you?" - I am mystified about it to this day. Funnily enough we did bring up that meme - but I feel that's just a "meme" - a spot on meme, sure - but kind of a hyperbole. Been there, done that - never again, all it did was turn us against eachother.
