  1. Past hour
  2. Really, any imposing dark lair shall do. I have to keep up appearances somehow. How have you been? I missed you.
  3. Okie, that makes sense. Thanks. 😊
  4. This is SSILD: SSILD Tutorial: The Senses Induced Lucid Dreaming Technique I've heard it's really effective, but I keep falling asleep too quickly when I wake up and do it in the night. I did it as I was falling asleep and hoped it would work because I kept drifting off a bit and coming back to it for a while, but it didn't work that time either

  6. That's what I thought yeah - the show is divided between Dragon Ball/Z while the original manga was not I didn't mean Z is not included in Dragon Ball, I meant it shouldn't be referred to as Dragon Ball specifically Basically only relevance I can think of is what I just mentioned, that someone said they were "Watching Dragon Ball" (for the first time) but they meant only Z, so I think referring to that as Dragon Ball without the Z was incorrect/misleading
  7. Today
  8. Cheat day for Dragon Ball, lol. 😁
  9. ah, that's right always learning from bre
  10. the irresistible lure of posting about dragonball
  11. i don't understand what you are asking both the anime and the manga were consecutive, as there were no breaks or seasonality to the release of dragonball. for toriyama, he just worked on dragonball every single day for 10 years, then retired because he was exhausted. it was toei's idea to rebrand the anime as dragonball Z, because they thought gohan would be the new main character, and the tone was changing. they also thought it would end soon, so Z for the last letter of the alphabet to represent the end of dragonball. but it ended up continuing another 300+ chapters (Z begins on chapter 195 of the dragonball manga to 519) GT also was Toei continuing the anime immediately after dragonball ended, and they rebranded again for obvious reasons. but there wasn't a break. it wasn't a seasonal anime. it was the flagship show for toei in the late 80s and early to mid 90s almost ready thanks! i didn't even mean to yet. how did i get here good luck idk what ssild is exactly but to what degree i understand it, i wonder if we do something like that by accident. also, i wonder if lumi has tried it. it's relatively new compared to the others?
  12. It's not a 0->1 thing, I reckon it'd take weeks if not months before it is ingrained well. Gambatte
  13. Yes, also without luck
  14. Have you started to "cross-check" with Kayleigh to form a habit of reality checking? I feel like after a while it could help to get the LD running
  15. I tend to wake up in the night, so I've been trying to take advantage of that and do MILD + SSILD in the night. I woke up and did MILD last night, no luck. I woke up again, decided to turn off my MP3 player, and fell back asleep and had a dream my MP3 player wouldn't turn off (it turned out I fell asleep without doing it). It's weird how selective my brain is with which intentions make it into my dreams.
  16. Welcome back "then he started speaking perfect chinese"
  17. Oh yeah, welcome back! 😊 It didn't even register earlier, lol.
  18. welcome back from your internet break, luni
  19. Missed this. Congrats to him! 😊 I have issues with that. It's all Dragon Ball, why is it wrong to say it that way? (I know it's an opinion but I feel I need to ask.) Aww, unfortunate.
  20. Isn't the manga different and actually consecutive?
  21. Wake Back To Bed is the easiest/most reliable way to get lucid (or at least vivid) dreams, but the downsides are 1, you have to be able to fall back asleep (adjust your awake time based on what works for you, it could be getting up and getting a drink and going back to bed, or it could be just standing up for 5 seconds and lying back down lol), and 2, if that's the only thing you're doing then you'll still be relying on a Dream Induced Lucid Dream (recognizing you're dreaming mid-dream), so it won't be full length like a WILD But I never had any success with any method except DILD and WBTB so..
  22. Update: I still have zero points Yay!
  23. Oh, that is what I meant to mean. Well I guess both applies, if I say DB/Dragon Ball I am referring to pre-Z, however referring to the series as a whole as Dragon Ball is fine too (what you should do, really) Someone just mentioned they were "watching dragon ball" and I was like oh? and then they said vegeta and I was like oh, not oh. I was saying that I prefer to refer to each series individually (DB, DBZ, GT, DBS or Super*) but I feel like unless I just say DBZ no one will know what I'm referring to without context (also referring to Z as "Dragon Ball" is just wrong imo unless you're committing to a watchthrough of the whole franchise, but, they weren't, they were only watching Z) * I forgot what the other one was called
  24. Good luck! 😊
  25. my system usually says db or dragonball, but long ago if you were to do that with a normie, they'd either think you are referring to specifically the pre Z portion of the show, or ask "do you mean dragonball z" i think more people now know that dragonball refers to the IP as a whole and that there is no DBZ manga, cuz it is DRAGONBALL from chapter one where goku meets bulma all the way to the end of buu and the epilogue (good chance a random person irl doesn't know what a manga is or that dbz is even from japan, though. it doesn't register as an anime to people who don't know anything about that stuff) 30 yr old friend of tb from middle school only like a few months ago learned that goku and others aren't white and that a lot of dbz characters are coded as being chinese hi! i saw you want to live in a cave. understandable. that's what tayomi does (my progenitor or whatever) i have to stop typing so mitski can concentrate on her resurrection ritual. she's trying to meditate (mechanical keyboard)
