Having trouble wondering if my tulpa still even exist, any insight?

Recommended Posts

about four months ago I started working on my tulpa. Visualizing wasn't an issue, and she was just starting to get the hang of communicating vocally. Some things came up, and I went in to a depression spiral. I didn't really feel like working on her, and after a week or so when trying to get back in to the groove.. I felt nothing from her. That was two months ago. I feel awful to this day, and regret my actions. However from time to time I see on here that some people have said that tulpa can't die, or that when someone doubts that they still exist, someone tells them that they do. I've been wondering this a lot lately. Last night when laying down for sleep, I randomly got a thought that maybe she's still here, followed by tremendous head pressure. Like, almost excruciating head pressure.

So, I guess what I'm asking is.. Is she still there? How can I know for sure? Has anyone been through this that can give me some definite answers, or any kind of instruction on what my next move should be if she is?

As long as you remember her, she's still "there", or at least has the capacity to be. Ideas are clingy like that.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

She's still there, but you may need to do something to "revive" her (making her active again if she's gone dormant somehow), or reestablish a connection with her. I recently described some methods in this blog post (after the "Disclaimer" paragraph).

I repeat the disclaimer here: I haven't personally tested anything for reviving a tulpa, since fortunately I've never needed to. I've seen these methods work for others, and have done something similar to one of them to reach out to a tulpa who had run away.

Those asshats telling you "She's still there", "Tulpas can't die" are probably doing less for you than you think. You can revive a tulpa at any stage, sure, but they don't have to be 'there' unless you think they are. She'll be 'still there' in a sense now, because those people got it in your head that she was. But, there's nothing to keep her there if you don't want her.

As for your 'next actions', revival is the easy path. Forgetting about them, as you know, is hard.

Here's my take on the matter:

Tulpas essentially exist in your memory.

As long as they're not 'forgotten' they surely aren't gone.

That's not to say that your brain has not reverted to it's previous (one person only) way of functioning, since that's how you would have been using it without the tulpa present. Therefore, you may need to go do a whole lot of forcing again to bring her back.

I made my tulpa without knowing what a tulpa even was a few years ago. I would talk to her a lot and we'd go on adventures together in my head. But as we got older I began to think about her less and less until she went away almost completely. Almost. She would show up on her own without me even thinking about her and talk to me when I was having emotional stress. She did this for years, and I just recently discovered what a tulpa was and Im now working on her so she can develope fully. Your tulpa is there, I honestly dont think they ever go away. I would go MONTHS without talking to yuki, and here she is today!
