naruto7573 October 14, 2015 October 14, 2015 Hi i am new to this my friend gave me this website and i found it so interesting i am 14 years old pretty young i guess but i am very familiar with a lot of spiritual encounters if a spirit is near me i can sense it i practice meditation with a meditation teacher and i can see people's aura's but i have to focus very hard i was just wondering how long would it take me to make my own tulpa before i go to sleep i always have a mind of adventure and think about my life and what i can become but creating a tulpa using my mind sounds so fascinating how long did it take you to make your own tulpa? Because i am wondering how long do you think it'd take me having learned meditation and having small gifts such as sensing energy and i can partially see energy (it's like i see everything but with a tv screen if i see a shape in that tv screen i know its something spiritual its very very weird) but i just want your opinions or should i wait till i mature in-case of giving my tulpa negative thoughts? What are your thoughts
Nyx October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 Hi, welcome to the forum. How long will it take? I’m afraid there is no set answer for that. Some tulpas are created within a few days, some within several years, and some are created purely by accident. To give you a more practical answer, however, I’d say that you should be prepared to invest at least several months before you begin to see significant results. Perhaps even longer. I’m sure other members here would give another estimate. Meditation will not necessarily speed up the process, but it can be a very handy tool for forcing, particularly for focus and visualization. In regards to age and maturity, negative thoughts are not so much the issue as is the ability to handle a large commitment. We have quite a few members who are your age and have tulpas, and they succeeded by just showing up to do the work. If you can stick to the process and can treat both your tulpa and yourself with respect, you should be fine. The only thing I suggest you do right away is to continue doing research before you begin. Good luck. Progress report ∞ Personal blog ∞
Guest Anonymous October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 Four years for her to gradually become semi-autonomous. But then again, I did not realize I was creating a thoughtform at the time. We became "stuck" at a level that many would not consider a fully actualized tulpa. For one thing, I did not realize that deliberately puppeting or parroting her would be ever considered a bad thing. The day dreaming is part of her and she sort of relies on it or enjoys it. In short, my thoughtform likes to be a puppet sometimes. LOL We are blended and not totally independent.
Guest Anonymous October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 In my years of, well, being in tulpamancy communities, interacting with my own tulpa, I have never met any spirits or seen any auras. I don't know how well that would help you, meditation is a valuable skill and something every tulpamancer should be able to do, you might want to look into that. I cannot give you a specific duration, but what I will tell you is that it took quite a long while. Tulpas can be born in a few days as Nyx said but the difference in capacities and sentience will be quite large if you compare it to a tulpa who took a long while to sink in information and whatnot. People don't really like to hear that but a thoughtform that is born in a few days greatly differs from a thoughtform that took a long while to develop. While it is not the answer you might seek, and this could fall as invalid for a lot of people but it is my own opinion; the longer, the better.
IBreakGames October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 I think a better question would be what defines a tulpa as being developed? When it gives emotional response? When it takes control of its own movements? When it becomes vocal? Possession? Switching? Imposition? etc. There's no real set marker of completion, in my opinion your tulpa is always developing, just like we as humans are. I'm IBreakGames, a genuine dude. We gave up on using different colors for each of us, so there's Al, Ollie, and Eva. We're all rabbits, get over it.
Guest Anonymous October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 Good point. Where does a tulpa become a tulpa? What is it before it is a tulpa? There are some who seem to hold the view that a thoughtform is either a tulpa or it is not. In other words, they believe there is a line that is crossed somewhere, a distinct emergence point at which a tulpa becomes self aware. Before that point there is no tulpa only potential. They seem to take sentience to be the defining factor of a tulpa, not its form or concept alone.
NoneFromHell October 15, 2015 October 15, 2015 Well considering your introduction i feel like clearing a few things up, beside the possible time it takes to create a tulpa. As the other posts already said: there is no real way of measurement. A tulpa has mainly nothing to do with ghosts, demons or the ability of sensing energy. It is a lot more scientific than spiritual to begin with. (And i promise you, you won't get far with focussing on spiritual aspects here in the main forum.) However knowing how to meditate is surely a great help in the process of creating a tulpa, while i wan't to state clear: creating a tulpa isn't for everyone. You're going for a lifetime commitment with creating a tulpa, you can't just spell it away when you don't like it. It is nothing which should be done "because it sounds cool and interesting". You won't be happy with the outcome. To give you a better idea: Pretend for a moment that you would decide to get a child. You will have to deal with it for a long time, things will be difficult and exhausting and you can't run away from your responsibilities. It may even could ruin your life if you aren't ready for it, so you should reflect about this a lot, instead of doing it just out of curiousity. Regardless of your age. Want something less scientific? Seeing energy, auras or spiritual beings won't help you at all with the whole tulpa thing, i can tell you that for sure. It is a completely different thing you're dealing with here. Advanced daydreaming might help you more with that. Creating a tulpa still may affect your third eye in some interesting ways, though.
