So I tried talking to her while playing league of legends.

Basically I was asking her "what should I buy?" and "should I chase after this crazy clown?". Got no response yet, perhaps it's because I actually forgot about her in some decisive moment in the game...

 

The important part is that you're paying attention to her and speaking with her. She'll get more out of it if you aren't dividing your attention between your game and your conversation, though. Try reading her a story or discussing a movie you're watching with her. Y'know, an activity that doesn't occupy your full attention.
