Another notion. What if our mind's/subconscious wave length is different from our astral's wave? What if, in order for someone to.enter your wonderland they need to mach their minds wave with yours like in the game *the evil within* the boy's mind was the same frequency as ruvic's thus ruvic could control him. Its a long shot but I think, maybe, possible.....

Very interesting thought. I never was interested in astral projection and I tried to strictly stay away from it since I didn't want to dedicate any of my time or energy to it, but if this kind of stuff is on the table, well.. I might just go and do a little bit of digging around.

(Kinda unrelated sidenote that I couldn't help but mention: The frequency compatibility Ruvik had with Leslie ultimately served for him to transit his mind into Leslie's body-- Maybe another topic to think about?)

I'm SomethingDire, and Céleste is my partner in crime.

It could also be a way to learn what others know. So if your in say Aerosmith's mind and body as he's performing you lean to play the guitar the way he does as well as your body builds the muscle memory because your mind is still connected to your body.

Hears another long shot (one I got from Dr. Who ;)) if this (what we have been talking about) is possible then maybe your tulpa cold possess a dead person's body and use it as their own. (Think Lovecraft would have written a stories about this if someone mentioned the idea to him.)

Having read a bit about the astral plane, I've come across plain statements that everything you imagine is 'real' in the astral plane, and there is even a level where the collective thoughts and beliefs manifest on a grand scale. (that's the fifth or sixth plane, I believe?)

For example, if you imagine a ball on the floor for long enough, then astral project to the lowest level of the astral plane, that is right 'next' to and looks like the physical world, the ball will be there.

I don't think it's far-fetched to assume that that's where your tulpas are. They are, in effect, already astrally projected.

Also, all of my astral projection experiences have been involuntary, and those who are experienced insist that it's a totally natural process that everyone does but doesn't remember. Like dreaming. They encounter versions of people they know, but they seem to be 'asleep' or 'groggy.'

That has certainly done a lot to quell any of my fears. If I've been doing this all along, why should I fear becoming more aware of it?
