Solune July 4, 2016 July 4, 2016 If anybody knows anything about Alphas, it's me. My Tulpas are both wolves. For the longest time Sol told me he wished he was in charge of our body because I was doing a piss poor job of it. I used to get upset with him, but looking back on everything: he was right. I WAS doing a piss poor job of it and he was right to not respect me. It took a lot of hard work for me to turn my life around, but with their help I succeeded. The man I am today is one WORTHY of respect, and Sol is now proud to call me his Alpha. I consider all of us to be equals, but the pack needs a leader to function properly and I take that duty very seriously. Everything I do is for them, so in many ways I am their humble servant (as any good leader should be). And, of course, I always take their views into consideration before making any significant decisions with OUR body. Don't be so quick to recoil from a word like "submission". There is power in the act of submission. And until an individual submits to the rule of discipline in their life, they can't experience true freedom... only license. Anyway, that's my two cents on the matter. Be worthy of respect and you will receive it. TheGreenQueen July 8, 2016 July 8, 2016 Yeah, I agree with Solune, I didn't get the idea that was some "might is right" diatribe, but that your tulpa should have boundaries. Kids do much better when given boundaries and (loving but firm) authority, and I assume the same goes for tulpas. Anyone who's watched Caesar Milan knows that being Alpha is not about merely dominating, but relating to, reading, and guiding another being that speaks a different emotional/body language than you do, which I think is actually a decent metaphor for tulpish and the like.
