WhiiteRussian July 30, 2012 July 30, 2012 I don't know about the memory thing, but I fucking hate it when people put a space before a comma. This was painful to read.
hakase July 30, 2012 July 30, 2012 I'm sure something like that would be entirely possible since you seem to have the idea so well-thought out. If I were you I would make sure that you enforce "trustworthy" as one of your tulpas main traits though. On another note, a tulpa will never be able to access your memories or "listen in" on your thoughts unless you allow them to. The common practice seems to be to hide memories until the tulpa becomes sentient, and then as a sign of trust the creator will give their tulpa access to all of their memories. I've never heard about a device like this being used, but the results should be interesting at least. ...For science! Oh. P.S. Yes this should be entirely possible. As long as you can imagine it, which you have, you can do it. Good Luck! "Give a man a Truth, and he will think for a day. Teach a man to Reason, and he will think for a lifetime." -Phil Plait
QB2 July 30, 2012 July 30, 2012 Sounds plausible. The horn-gimmick approach is... well, gimmicky, but from my experience stuff like that can help in the right situations. It's like how people often say "imagine a door and walk through it" when referring to journeying through memories - physical translations on concepts can help you wrap your head around them. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Slime September 9, 2012 September 9, 2012 I do not have any of Clints memories and only a little bit of knowledge because I asked him not to let me have it. Maybe you can just not let you tulpa know what they are and then if they want to let them know that part of the memory http://www.slime-chan. deviant art. com
