Iconoclasm July 31, 2012 Author July 31, 2012 Son, do you study the fucking human brain and speech patterns? I doubt it. Tulpae cannot be better at you than something, or know something you don't. It would be almost impossible for them to know their "soft spot" or some shit was affected due to a voice faltering or by analyzing responses. He would just be saying "you hit their soft spot", when in fact you haven't. Get a psychcology degree, then give your tulpa that ability. I KNOW that It's impossible for a tulpae to have skills or know more than it's creator, but you have to agree that sometimes you know stuff and notice stuff without conscientiously thinking about it.That's where I'm getting at. Therefore,If a tulpae IS capable of independant thought,it's wise to say that it would be capable of thinking about different things than what it's creator is thinking at that moment. It's not a question of it having a wider arrange of skills or being more knowledgable than you are,it's a question of dividing a thought process in two.And that's attacking a subject from two sides,at the same time. hakase August 1, 2012 August 1, 2012 Tulpae cannot be better at you than something, or know something you don't. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that since a tulpa is an extension of your subconscious they would actually be capable of picking up small cues that the creator would not. AFAIK there are multiple reputable experiments that show how powerful the subconscious is at detecting extremely quick or extremely small visual and audio cues. The tulpa would not have to have any more knowledge or skills than their creator, but due to the large amount of environmental information that they can detect through our subconscious that we are not consciously aware of, I think that they would be completely capable of something like this. mintybutts August 1, 2012 August 1, 2012 i think it's pretty interesting to try out but: >mischevious, manipulative ,power-hungry and very analytical inb4 he doesn't give a shit what you're planning on using him for (maybe even lying to you once in a while) once he gets sentient. i've read a lot of people saying that tulpae are loyal, but i don't know. i for one wouldn't trust a sentient being that's mischievous, manipulative, and power-hungry especially if it's one coming from my head. i'd put more trust in a servitor more than a tulpa for things like this. then again i'm still new to tulpae and am interested to see it happen.

Actually, you can make a tupper an asshole and they'd still be nice to you. It's quite fascinating, really. If I can finish Dash, I'd like to make the most narcissistic, arrogant, rude, vulgar, innapropiate flatuence alive. Dash could help. If he is malignant, then I'll just kill it.

Sorryman54 August 2, 2012 August 2, 2012 for the luls ! Yes! And he will look like Fede, so I'll have amazing pleasure killing it.
Guest August 4, 2012 August 4, 2012 >energy is metaphysical It also makes a good symbol for attention/whatever you feed to your tulpa. Fede doesn't admit it, but the subconscious generally does very well with symbols.Symbolism is undeniably effective. I just don't like it, that's all.
