Iconoclasm July 30, 2012 July 30, 2012 So,first off I'd like to introduce myself since it's my first post.I'm Iconoclasm and greetings to everyone. Before asking,yes i've been reading the guides and adjusting/tempering with some details to make my own kind of 'how-to' on some pieces of paper. I'm about 5 hours in,so it's pretty early ,i'm mostly sketching up a baseline personality and I keep narrating over my day,explaining existence to him as best I can and just talking to him as if i'm talking to a child.I imagined this would be fine since it IS in development,and sort of like a newborn. Now,I've been thinking about a little trick that might fix my ...depleted state whenever I'm in the process of personification.Basically ,I created a 'fountain' in my 'wonderland' .What does this have to do with it ? Well,I thought that If I perceive all the information and all the little social encounters that I have during the day with other conscious ,sentient beings (fellow humans,of course) as some kind of energy,and I imagine it storing onto an energy ball then transfering that into the fountain ,it would serve as some kind of exterior energy input,rather than just from myself. I know this may sound like something far-fetched ,but I think it will be easier for me to maintain my daily sessions If I start doing this. So what are your thoughts on this thing?Is it stupid or is it worth a shot? Sorry for the long post and thank you for taking the time to read this. But I wouldn't ever see tuppers as kids or newborn, really. Different strokes for different folks I guess. You can either believe it's metaphysical (which most people don't agree with here), or you can use the idea as a placebo/aid to giving your tulpa more emotion/attention. Personally, I think it's a great idea if you follow the latter. Don't believe that there's actual "energy", but if you think doing this helps your tulpa, then it should. Sounds good to me.

Well,yes,thats what I'm trying to use it for,helping my tulpa gain sentience faster. It's in the same bracket as the energy ball method regarding traits ,or the wonderland where you can imagine a library containing memories. I'm also going to implement an abillity to Adam (name may change depending on him) that allows him to feed on emotion,but not as a necessity,more like something that will allow him to 'penetrate' other peoples defences,making it easier for me to successfully get what I want from people. It's just a thought,and again I may be going full-retard here but what the heck,we're talking about two trains of thought here,why not use it as an advantage ? Tulpa can't directly affect others in any way. They're all part of your mind. I'm pretty sure your brain isn't capable of changing others like that. The way people would generally bend others to their will is with their persuasion, subtle body cues, and other such things. A tulpa doesn't have a physical body and others can't see or hear it, so...
