OcarinAttorney August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Think of a yellow fluffy duck. Congratulations, you just visualized a yellow fluffy duck. You can't physically see it with your eyes (yet) but you just thought of it. Now, think of your tulpa. A rough draft of it is fine - even a silhouette is awesome - if it helps, draw your tulpa. When you force, try to sharpen up the details and add or cut out things. This takes a while to grasp and firm up, so be patient. You may be frustrated but guess what? Suck it up. Your tulpa will be so worth it. Anyhow, visualization is important but personality is important as well. VERY important. If you can't organize things in your head, make a diagram/chart/whatever on a piece of paper. http://tulpa.info/guides/faqman-trait-template.html <<< I found this to be very helpful. And do make a habit of talking to your tulpa. Good luck. Please just call me Christine because Ocarin sounds/looks awkward.
Phi August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 First thing's first, keep calm. The more frustrated you get, the harder it is to visualize. Try exercises that train your mind's eye. Look at clouds and try to see shapes in them. Daydream. Read books.
OcarinAttorney August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Like Phi said, calm down. It makes it so much harder to visualize and meditate when all you're thinking is "IM SO FRUSTRATED AND FREAKED OUT IS THIS EVEN REAL????" Listen to calm music, read, etc.. Please just call me Christine because Ocarin sounds/looks awkward.
Phi August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Just to note I don't know how to force yet Tulpaforcing is just a fancy word for concentrating on your tulpa while going through personality, visuals, or whatever. Ok well, I just tried meditation with my eyes closed and I think I saw like a, you know them window blinds with the light gaps if you don't that's not the point but I think I saw that. Like a grate going into a pipe system you know like in the movies is that anything? I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but you might just be looking at the back of your eyelids.
Phi August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Try looking at an area of the room you're in, then closing your eyes. Then try to recall as much as you can about what was there before you closed your eyes. While you're recalling objects you should be visualizing them at least somewhat. That's what it's like to visualize.
mmmcock August 3, 2012 Author August 3, 2012 Ok I can do that fine now what do I do? Sorry for being such a bother I just find it difficult to grasp the concept. And also how do influence my talpas personality?
Phi August 3, 2012 August 3, 2012 Ok I can do that fine now what do I do? Sorry for being such a bother I just find it difficult to grasp the concept. And also how do influence my talpas personality? If you can visualize the objects that were in front of you before you closed your eyes then you can visualize your tulpa. You may want to look up some pictures to get something to go off of, but it's basically the same thing. You're just switching recall for creation. To influence the tulpa's personality, you just concentrate on your tulpa and begin to talk to them about their personality. http://tulpa.info/guides/index.html
