Has anyone read Thomas Campbell's "My Big TOE" (, TOE equals 'theory of everything') and related his model of the universe basically being a holographic computer designed for evolving consciousness to tulpamancy? I am in the process of finishing the trilogy, and it has sparked a huge interest with my (internal) companions, as if it the theory itself has offered a paradigm that offers validity to their existence beyond the framework of being a subset to a host (me) and, perhaps, metaphysically, the possibility of continued existence in the event of demise.

Are there any other host or companions who wonder about Tulpa and afterlife, because, quite frankly, if there is a 'heaven' and I can't join or take companions, I am not going to go. Of course, I said something similar as a child, if my dog isn't going I am not going either. Heaven without dogs, or cats, or even gold fish, just seems absurd, but for sure, how can I go and tulpas not go, because we're like linked? Unless we're link after the body dies.

Okay, I guess that's existential enough today. Any takers?

Looking at some basic literature on that text, he uses a definition of consciousness that is very safe, but very limiting. Consequently, it is very easy to say that the universe functions as an engine that evolves consciousness. But, it is a theoretical leap to go from functions as to designed as. A leap with no backing, and the counter argument of survivor's bias.

Yeah. I think he says that at one point, and then circles back towards it. I applauded the effort to try and be consistent, but Ego sounds like a huge part of it, and he several times makes point about reading every word, as opposed to skimming, and reports every word is crucial, like don't assume you know, look up a word and come back because functional meaning is better than contextual meaning, and, LOL, he introduced an acronym and paragraph said not to worry about the meaning of the acronym, you can find it later in the list of utilized acronyms... I do like the idea that 'everything is consciousness,' as it appeals to my preferential 'working theory.'

tulpa001, do your tulpas, or does anyone's tulpa, express existential angst? I have created answers that satisfy my own, but my answer aren't satisfying companions. we are discussing theory. Was it an something that I should have planned ahead, or introduced during initial forcing?

Existential questioning: Yeah, a lot of tulpas do. Myself included.

But, it is like a human thing. Though there are a few people where this is a major part of their life and a major source of angst and dread, for most people, they are primarily concerned with drama and whatnot coming form other things in life. Or just like work and video games or books.

Thank you. that makes sense.  I do hope I have not unduly influenced folks (companions) with my own unconscious projections. I don't know how to eliminate that as a possibility, or when to own something, or allow other to own something. This is new I am still sorting lots of stuff. I? We?!
