TheBlackWizard September 20, 2017 September 20, 2017 From what I know that's not the right approach. It can work though, as you're using symbolism but a servitor cannot "destroy" anxiety. You have to be very careful what wording you use when creating a servitor. Destroying anxiety can cause some serious problems. Subduing anxiety is good though. Rather, a servitor should not remove anxiety but instead help the creator overcome the trauma behind the anxiety. Which will require research into self development. Limiting beliefs, paradigms, self image, etc. The problem with mind/emotion altering servitors is that you don't know what they will change and/or influence. I was on a magic forum asking about servitors once to make me more confident, and they all responded "DON'T DO IT!". There's a whole bunch of reasons why this is dangerous. Something more intelligent like a tulpa would be better suited to this task because to them it would be obvious what to tamper with and what not to, but with a servitor unless you nailed down the psychology factor and gave it specific instructions down to the T, this is a dangerous en devour. Symbolism is good for servitor creation (lightning shooting the anxiety) but I would just stick to traditional methods. Don't go off changing the creation process because you don't know what you're doing. Input command phrases are best. I have that book.. I read it back in 2015. I'll read it again but i dont remember it speaking about what I'm proposing to do. Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Tirisilex September 21, 2017 Author September 21, 2017 I was forcing a servitor today. I made it look like an Asian dragon and it would spit fire at my anxiety whenever it arose. It was really taking my anxiety away. It seemed to be working well. But you're saying this is dangerous? I don't really see how. Can anyone else back this claim up? How would I go about doing a Servitor who deals with anxiety and how would it deal with anxiety? Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Tirisilex September 21, 2017 Author September 21, 2017 What if I have the servitor when he breathes fire onto the anxiety it transforms the anxiety into calmness and serenity? I want to be safe about this. But I just dont see how it's dangerous to do what I was doing. Please, people, I could use some advice here Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. TheBlackWizard September 21, 2017 September 21, 2017 What if I have the servitor when he breathes fire onto the anxiety it transforms the anxiety into calmness and serenity? I want to be safe about this. But I just dont see how it's dangerous to do what I was doing. Please, people, I could use some advice here Hey, I'll pitch in again. If you look up servitors, familiars or even sigils you'll find this: "Magic takes the path of least resistance". So if you fire a sigil to bring you money, or even send a servitor to go out and bring you money, it might cause a loved one to die to receive their inheritance. But if you give the sigil or servitor more specific instructions, you can remove the chance for it to do something bad. The energy you put into a servitor is huge though. If you're building a servitor while feeling... jealousy, the servitor will act with jealousy. If you're depressed and anxious while making the servitor, the servitor will be too (thus decreasing its performance). Making a servitor in a state of peace and/or love though makes a very positive servitor who likely won't do anything "bad". Basically, the energy you make it with is the energy it adopts. So if you're telling a servitor to remove or calm anxiety, it will also take the path of least resistance. Do you know what that path is? Exactly. That's why its dangerous. It could do ANYTHING good or bad to meet the goal you've given in. But (I'm making this part up) If to calm anxiety you must calm the reptilian part of the brain by making it feel safe, then what you can do is order the servitor to stimulate your root chakra with positive energies to become grounded, safe, secure and peaceful. But... If lets say... killing off certain memories will remove anxiety (this is actually true) then it will kill off those memories. But a programmed little servitor doesn't know how to SAFELY remove memories. It could seriously screw with your head. It's the same notion as commanding robots to save the world. They would kill humanity, because it's the path of least resistance. Quicker, and leads to the goal. See? I don't know how much reading you've done into servitors but they are dangerous in the hands of a newbie. Even sigil magick is dangerous in the hands of a newbie. BUT As for this post I'm replying to you're saying that the servitors job is to transform anxiety into serenity. But you don't know HOW it's doing that. You know the symbolism, it breathing fire on the anxiety and transforming it but that's not literally happening. It's doing SOMETHING to turn the anxiety into calmness and if you don't know what that SOMETHING is, things can become VERY dangerous. My point is this. Know what your servitor is doing, how its doing it, and the effects of it doing it. If you don't, you could seriously suffer in the long run.
Tirisilex September 22, 2017 Author September 22, 2017 The way I look at it.. When for example I meditate I think about a an unwanted thought and I envision it being burned up and destroyed. How I see this is that I am sending a message to my subconscious mind that I do not want to experience this thought. When I meditate on this enough the thought no longer arises. I have been doing this for years and I have never found any problems. So I thought with a servitor I could do the same thing but get it to do it for me so That I don't have to sit hours of meditation. However, I do feel that destroying thoughts may not be the best approach anymore because I am a Buddhist and we are taught to deal with unwanted thoughts / emotions in a different manner.. While It does work in dealing with thoughts / emotions as a Buddhist I'm supposed to be aware of the thought / emotion and then let it pass.. So I'm trying to brainstorm a better way to approach this. Don't believe the things I say just because I tell you.. Test these things and prove them to yourselves so that you know them to be true. ~The Buddha
tulpa001 September 29, 2017 September 29, 2017 Servitor experts are few and far between on this site. Only really glitch the third anymore. You should read up on chaos magick to get a good idea for what is a good process. To add to your list: typing servitor to aid in typing. Radio servitor to play music. HUD servitor to add fancy graphics to what you are seeing and measure your vital signs. Noise servitor to mute unwanted voices while you think. Switching servitor to aid people in automatically switching. Communication servitor to allow different systemmates to leave messages for one another. Book servitor to aid memory recall. Soldier servitor to defend the wonderland against depression. These are the ones I have seen people make. Host comments in italics. Tulpa's log. Tulpa's guide.
