WhiiteRussian August 10, 2012 August 10, 2012 If you don't know what the Ganzfeld Experiment is, you can read about it here: http://mindhacks.com/2008/11/17/ganzfeld-hallucinations/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganzfeld_experiment Basically by blocking out all your senses, your brain invents it's own. Procedure: What I want you guys to do is to put on static either from a radio or a youtube video, then halve a ping pong ball and tape each half to your eyeball. Lie down in an evenly lighted room with your eyes open and think about (or imagine) your tulpa. Set an alarm for 30 minutes and report back the results.

Chupi August 10, 2012 August 10, 2012 I have not done the ping pong ball part, but I did try white and pink noise for quite a long while. I can't hear a thing in it, apart from some watery noises. However I do get some interesting effects if I play loud noise over quiet music. If I can only hear the occasional peak of the music, I can pick the rest of it out of the noise. Sometimes it morphs into a different song, either on its own or because I try to make it. JD1215 August 10, 2012 August 10, 2012 I did this before with some friends, except we didn't have ping pong balls so we used plastic easter-egg halves. It basically worked pretty well for us, maybe because we were expecting visuals, but I dunno. After about 45 minutes all we really saw was really strong strobing effects. When my friend turned off the light unexpectedly, I damn near had a heart attack. Then we tried again a second time turning the light off, and everything in my field of vision turned to blue with random green lines and stars everywhere. I could even turn my head and they'd all move around in 3d space. It was pretty neat at the time. WTB: Rare Tulpas
