Alright ladies and gentlemen. This is the glorious beginning of... another generic question post by somebody interested but not yet started on the forcing or planning.

Mmyes, quite glorious, I know. Anyway, I've been lurking for about a week, seen Irish and FAQman's guides as well as a bunch of threads similar to this one, these are questions I did not find a satisfying answer to. It could have oddly happened for me to randomly miss any threads where these have been discussed, but I digress. I am not asking for answers here, I am asking for opinions. Goes for creators and tulpas alike.

1/ On tulpae and proportions: I assume most of you aren't art students who have studied anatomy or proportions for years. Yet it seems that those of you who attempt to make a human tulpa usually don't end up with a disproportional body that doesn't really seem right. I usualy have a hard time focusing, and also a hard time with proportions, so I'm affraid I might screw up something big time. How do I get a proportional tulpa when I can't draw, or clearly imagine a perfectly proportional body? Any thoughts?

2/ On tulpae and musical interaction [mostly for musicians]: Lets say for example I want a tulpa who can help me write music or play sax along with me. That would imply two things: A/ The tulpa will need the ability to complexly and creatively interact with a forced musical instrument, and B/ Both the tulpa and I will need to be able to hear the sound the tulpa is making in the tones it's supposed to be. Having in mind I won't have perfect pitch, I can only do that to a fixed external source, something that a tulpa is not. Maybe somehow a tulpa can extract the right tones from your mind in a way people with perfect pitch do? Though, I guess that would be like a colorblind person's tulpa drawing its creator a distinctly and clearly colored painting... Thoughts?

3/ On me being rather thick: So your subconsciousness[took me a while to spell that] and memory is open to your tulpa. Seems clear enough, right? What I did not understand is, is it completely open at all times, as if it were your tulpa's own, or is it restricted in a way that they have to dig around to find something. For example, lets say you have opened your subconsciousness to Schrödinger, your tulpa, but suddenly you have the urge to tell him the most amazing story about the drunken guy with the Molotov cocktail at your 8th birthday party. What's stopping him from already knowing that story? Or something. I don't know how to formulate these questions, that's why I'm asking for opinions and not answers. Fire away.

Before I finish, let me just state a few things often infered about beginners. No, I do not intend to make a tulpa to gain any specific privilages. I intend to make one because it will help me grow as a person, give me a kickass companion and allow me to advance and experiment in an entirely new to me area. Also, I am not one to do things half-assed. If I start with this I will hammer out each part till it makes the shiniest, sharpest sword possible. There is one thing stopping me, and that is the environment I live in. It's stressfull, with not enough free time for this, and full of close-minded, intollerant people that will view me as a raging lunatic if I mention I'm this far away from their norms.

For these reasons I'll probably wait for a few months for things to change or settle down. Then maybe I'll start forcing. Till then I'll be lurking here on and off and checking how you guys are doing.

TL;DR- Check just the three numbered paragraphs. The rest is a useless wall of text.

1)>:=. When you think of someone you know, do you think of a mental image of them? I found out that letting my subconscious do things for me works a lot, like waking me up at certain times, reminding me of things, figuring out problems during the day and giving me answers later, etc. Completely non-tulpa related, as its just my subc. Try that: telling your subconscious to come up with a form or help you visualize it.

Also, you don't have to start with visualization of a complex form first, you could always work on personality and narration to a rainbow ball of fuzz.

2) I would imagine a tulpa's musical ability is as good as you can hear a song in your head. Like when you imagine a song playing and you hear every little aspect of it. Have you ever imagined an entire orchestra playing a song that you make up on the spot? Thats how good they'd sound, aside from the possibility that you might need to teach them something either about the instrument or the sound. Miku has given me a couple of songs before while forcing. I'd randomly hear like a techno beat that I've never heard before and it sure didn't feel like I was in control of how it was shaped and flowed.

3) You can limit access to your tulpa for whatever reason. I forgot if tulpa see memories as their own or as like a movie they watch externally of their own memories, but eh. You can lock up memories from your tulpa, if you feel so inclined.

I can tell you an answer/opinion to that first one at least!

We are humans ourselves, we see humans every day in our life and our brain recognizes humans. We can say when something doesn't look human or looks weird because we are so used to them. Uncanny valley and all that. When visualizing tuppers, you might in fact end with something that looks weird at first but perhaps you can't quite say what's wrong with them if you don't know much about anatomy. It will come on its own though, but studying some anatomy never hurts. And practice helps.

As to what Fourfiction said about forms and narration/personality, I never visualized anything at the start before I worked on his form after I felt we had done enough personality. Not even a ball. So it is completely possible not to visualize anything in the early steps if you feel it helps you more.

Eh, my tulpa is a small fluffy feline(ish) creature. I grew up in a house full of cats so I know how their proportions and such work like the back of my hand, even if I wasn't exactly paying attention, it's just knowledge that's there.

I'd guess you'd be able to do the same with humans, since I imagine you grew up in a house full of humans... subconscious information and all that...

A tulpa's a pretty fixed source if I've ever seen one. I don't see why they'd have any problem with instruments. I don't know what it's like to have pitch trouble, but I imagine you'd just have to practice on instrument-forcing a bit to get it working exactly the way you want.

You can do it any way you want. Put your memory on the other side of doors, in books in a massive library, right out in the open, anything. Usually, but not always, if you lay it all out for them they'll find what they're looking for quickly.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
