I am currently thirty hours into tulpaforcing and today I begun working on visualization. I decided to work from the feet up.

I quickly ran into a problem. At first I was going to give him standard, normal looking toes, but then that didn't feel right. Soon enough his toes started looking like mine (my toes have a genetic mutation that causes them to have a slight arch upward, particularly noticeable in my big toe.)

This seemed fine for a while, but then something started screwing with his toenails and by the end of the session his toes were back to the original version. I think maybe he was trying on different looking toes and couldn't decide, but perhaps it was me.

I was planning on him having rather straight body hair on his legs, but somehow that managed to change as I was tulpaforcing. It is now kind of curly and more spread out and just seems to fit him a lot better.

Something similar also happened throughout working on his legs. As I was going over a tan-line from his socks, it didn't look right. Soon enough I started picturing a different shade of skin, although it just randomly came into my mind so I feel as if he might have been trying to tell me he wanted a paler skin tone.

The last two could have easily been me, but the first incident involving his toes really felt as if it was his doing.

After I finished his feet I kind of jokingly thought, "Now walk around." And he did. It actually caused me to laugh because the way he was walking reminded me of someone trying on a new pair of shoes, except he was trying on his feet for size.

At one point I think we might have been talking about something when my mind kind of drifted off from visualizing. I don't recall what, but I do remember that I ended up thinking that I was parroting and then having an argument with him (or myself parroting) about it. Of course, he was saying that I wasn't and I was saying that I was.

I'm wondering if the physical changes are most likely signs of deviation, along with that and the argument being hints at sentience.

Any opinions would be great.

This is certainly your tulpa being sentient and he is affecting how he looks like and the argument could be also him.

If you have to think about whether something was you or your tulpa then it was likely your tulpa.
