The title from Reddit: Psychologists Discover That People Subconsciously Take On Attributes Of Their Favorite Fictional Characters

So would our tulpas change themselves to become like their favourite characters, or would we do that?

During the early-mid creation process, I noticed many deviations occurring which made Linda a little more similar to some of my favorite characters. This I would certainly attribute to my own thoughts, subconscious or otherwise, rather than my tulpa deciding she wanted to be more like them. In the late-post creation period, a tulpa should be capable of personally experiencing the phenomenon outlined in your article, though the beliefs of some regarding tulpa in general may render this impossible.

This effect is very common for me, and it seems like QB's probably had it as well. It makes sense - tulpas do pick up a lot of things from their environment, it stands to reason that they'd pick up some views of characters they watch on TV as well.

Edit: QB just noted to me that as the article says, he doesn't emphasize to such a degree with characters who "aren't like him" - in this case, realistic people dealing with realistic problems, a group which includes most characters. But there are a couple he likes and feels as though he understands the views of.

The above post does not contain facts.

q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.

Both. During the personality stage it will be you, but once your tulpa becomes aware enough to deviate then it will also start to pick things up from other people or characters. There are cells in the brain called mirror neurons that allow people to imitate actions, which could also play a role.

Part 1

Part 2

People subconsciously take on attributes of anyone they like, fictional or not. If we spend enough time with someone we like, or enough time watching someone we like and understanding their point of view, the more we can empathize with them and the more we relate and even may begin to act a bit like them.

Totally makes sense that it would happen for a tulpa as well. I mean why not?
