Okay, so I am new here so don't flip a lid if these are asked all over the place, I just want to be sure I don't screw up when making my tulpa.

So I did just find this today, I read all about it, I read FAQ Man's guide (both of them), frequently asked questions and have been reading some of the other topics.

what I'd like to know is exactly how do I begin?

I have all the personality traits chosen, I've decided not to work on the image immediately, but should I?

I've read people using visualization and picturing characteristics as orbs and giving them to their tulpa's image, should I do this?

also, when I am giving my traits to my tulpa, should I be stating that he is a trait? like "you ARE brave"?

another thing, narrating. What exactly does it mean? just narrating in your head what you are doing and seeing because you are talking to your tulpa? should I be doing this before or after I have spent my 30-35 hours on personality?

while I'm typing and because I'm lazy, what's this wonderland I keep hearing about?

>what I'd like to know is exactly how do I begin?

However you want. Just start working, in any way you find productive. Visualize, meditate, narrate, just jump right in at any step, or all at once if you want.

Anything.

>I have all the personality traits chosen, I've decided not to work on the image immediately, but should I?

It's a personal preference, though tulpas usually respond well to having a body - they like the feeling of individuality it gives them. But yours may not mind so much, and I'm sure they can wait, regardless.

>I've read people using visualization and picturing characteristics as orbs and giving them to their tulpa's image, should I do this?

If it works, then sure! Everyone has different methods that work for them. Every mind responds to different things in different ways.

>also, when I am giving my traits to my tulpa, should I be stating that he is a trait? like "you ARE brave"?

Yes, that's the general idea, it's usually done like that. But if you have a better idea, by all means try it.

>while I'm typing and because I'm lazy, what's this wonderland I keep hearing about?

A "wonderland" (or dreamland, mindscape, etc etc), is a world inside your head, made the same way a tulpa is made, only purely mental and not imposed. In a wonderland, since it's a purely mental place, your tulpa can do things it can't do in the real world, like touch real objects, so some tulpas like "living" there.

another quick question, how do I decide what my tulpa looks like? when I first heard about tulpa I had thought I would use a character like Twilight Sparkle from my little pony (yes I am brony) but I read you can't use a pre-existing character like that.

so if I were to make it a human, how would I know what sort of face it would have? I find it rather difficult to make up a whole new face on the spot. Will my tulpa in due time make its own face if I don't give it one, similar to how it will think up its own name if I leave it nameless?

Well from what I know, a tulpa can determine its own aspects the same way it would choose its own name. Dunno what extent that reaches, though, so I would make a face, just in case. Then let any changes come, later. Besides, the face is usually the hardest part, and it will only get easier to visualize with practice.

A zebra, but they're in the same taxonomical family as horses, so you know. Why?

Lots of people. Lots.

There are multiple pony tulpas on this forum, Eggnog - /mlp/ has shown a great interest in the concept, especially.
