Eggnog August 26, 2012 Author August 26, 2012 I found my way here through /mlp/ XD I didn't think it was a usual thread though, seeing as it wasn't ponies.
Eggnog August 26, 2012 Author August 26, 2012 actually, I have another question. I read that my tulpa should not be based off of existing characters, but if I wanted to base it off of stephano from Pewdiepie (if anyone's watched him) would I be able to? I read that by doing this your tulpa can feel depressed or something that it's unable to do what it is based off of does. like I'm wondering that if I did stephano, he's a little golden statue with a sword, by the way, would he be sad or something that he is unable to help pewdiepie in his adventures?
Oguigi August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 ohh just wondering if anyone has actually done a pony tulpa yet. a good amount of tulpa here, do seem to be pony. but am not surpised as many of us comes from 4chan /mlp/ I asked Oguigi do she enjoy her pony from. She said she "loved it" pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
Werner August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 >/mlp/ >original thread not about ponies. Yeah, that is quite scary.

As far as basing your tulpa off of an existing fictional character goes, the guides do say not to do it. Mostly because you have certain expectations in your mind for how that character should look and act, and your tulpa may or may not be able to live up to those expectations, or simply may not want to. Although I know of at least one user here who used a form for their tulpa based off a fictional character, and it worked out fine. So I guess that all depends on how open you are to the fact that they will probably not act the same as said character, and may change their appearance so they do not look quite like or anything like that character later. But if I were you I'd wait to get some input from someone who knows more about it than I do. As far as the face goes, if you can't make one up from scratch, you can always pull up a random persons face from Google or something, since you don't already know who they are, you will avoid the issue of your tulpa being based off a person/character you know. bila bila August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 What the fuck is wrong with the question and answer forum? Is it blocked from newfags or something?
Guest Albatross_ August 26, 2012 August 26, 2012 /mlp/ has shown a great interest in the concept, especially. In fact, the original members of this site were almost all refugees from /mlp/ (including Pleeb). @OP, not QB2. And as bila bila pointed out, next time you have questions, they belong in the Question and Answer section. That's what it's for.
