so I think I had read it is bad if you base it off of a fictional charcter, but I find this is not the case as so many people did ponies, I see a lot of rainbow dash and vinyl scratch.

If I base my tulpa off of say, Stephano from Pewdiepie's videos, will he feel sad or something that he is not doing anything that the game version of him is doing?

also, my friend wanted to know if tulpa ever...pleasure...themselves.

I don't know why he's asking, maybe it's a fetish I don't know but it did sort of spark my interest as well.

so, basing it off of a french, small, golden statue from a horror video game, will thi cause bad side effects on him once he's created an knows he was created to be essentially a copy of something else?[/font]

Have you read the guides?

yes but I believed I misread the bit about what NOT to base it on, and I thought it said do no base it on an existing fictional character.

"Making the tulpa have the same body or visage as a known and fleshed out character is not good. This can lead to the tulpa having identity problems, feeling like it has to live up to something its not, and the like. You could never make a tulpa be exactly the same as a character. They are their own being. Do not stifle them by applying the preconceived notions you have about a character to them."

It isn't really that bad as the guides say really. As you have said, many people here have based their tulpae on ponies, mainly Rainbow Dash and Vinyl Scratch and haven't had problems as of yet. Heck, even I based my tulpa on a Bionicle and he is fine.

But just as a note, do not try making them exactly like the character you are basing it of. You will never get the exact same character, and most likely then will have the forementioned identity problems. Let him/her have the freedom to be whatever they want and deviate wherever they want to, and make sure to tell them that they're unique and have no need to try and replicate someone.

So, you can make something look like a premade character, but trying to make an exact copy is bad.

And as for fapping, I don't know, if anyone does it's glitchthe3rd, ask him.

Velf looks like a Pokemon, she doesn't care. Just don't instill a fake past/family/etc that's where things get sour.

Velf is Tulpa, aka Cat. Zylq is host, please message me if I can offer any assistance, relieve some qualms, or answer your questions.

Status: Fully Imposed

Appearance: Large snow leopard

Personally, I believe you can design the personality exactly the way you want and have the tupper behave like the real character if you'd want to. It's the fake memories that can cause a problem, but even so, those are subjective as well; it's like completely denying some random faggot wouldn't be able to handle such a concept, which I'm sure there is. It's really more of a precaution against general tendencies and results from people creating tuppers with premade memories in mind.

This being the third thread you've made that asks a specific question, you might be interested in

As for your question, you won't really get a straight answer. I agree with the way Dane put it:

You can let personality influence form.

You can let neither of them influence each other.

But try not to let form influence personality.
