Hello everyone, I just discovered this tulpa concept and I would like to start my tulpa creation.

The only problem is that the only time I have for meditating and creation would be at night.

Would it be a problem if I did most of the creation process in the dark?

Another question I had is would it be fine if I only meditated for around 1 hour a day?

Thank you in advance.

Some feel that falling asleep while creating a tulpa can have slight potential negative side effects. I have had no such problems in that regard. Night or day should make no difference. You might want to create with some light on as well, so that you can work on open eye visualization of your tulpa. An hour a day is fine. The more time you put in, the faster things tend to go. Don't worry about keeping track of time, simply make sure that you feed your tulpa attention on a daily basis, and remain confident in its sentience at all times, and it will grow healthy and strong. If you cant spend that hour a day for some reason, you can always passively keep your tulpa in your thoughts through the day. Try and keep its form in your mind's eye, feel its presence around you. Quality time is important though, so don't forget about your tulpa for days or weeks on end, it could grow bored, or worse.

Good luck!

ATTICUS! When did you get here?

Also, morgan kinda answered everything. Just gonna emphasize, again, the importance of having confidence and faith in your tulpa. If you feel like it's never going to make progress, it'll never make progress. If you've read FAQman's guide, many people now agree that the process doesn't actually have to take as long as he states. Many people's tulpae achieve sentience much earlier on, some from the first week. A large part of how long it takes to make your tulpa is how long you expect it to take.

An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.

I only force at night, it's worked out fine. Beware of tiredness though, it really makes concentration a bitch, and falling asleep while forcing is not recommended.

Also what morgan said.

Name: Philip

Age: (7 June, 2012)

Form: Male teenage human, light brown hair, green eyes, jeans & hoodie

Name: Amalia

Age: (15 Dec, 2012)

Form: Female teenage fairy, black hair, blue eyes, white dress

Try doing pushups. I found that helps me stay awake (stimulates adrenaline flow or something).

Also, don't lie down because this makes you feel sleepy. Sit in a chair if you can, because if you sit on your bed you might feel tempted to lie down.
