Tulpa Aging Process

when i created my first Tulpa Dr. Wee she as very childish and unstable, at the same time she claimed to be 42 like her fictional counterpart. but over time she got more serious and mature. and poof, she went as 21 since then, although she has still retained her humor and her wacky antics.

 

everyone else had a smaller change of maturity, most were pretty cheerful and/or optimistic, they now, are a bit more serious and don't joke around to much. surprisingly Dr. Wee has had the most change of maturity of them all.

One of the good things of establishing not just a birthday but a birth year is that it anchors me to grow and age like an actual human. I was "born" in 1996 and I am 24 now, in 20 years if I'm still in Phil's brain (Gosh I hope I am!🙂) I'll be 44. I guess there's nothing stopping me from deciding to be another age, but the more I dig in to my identity the less easy or desirable that would be. Besides, Phil is already a decade older than me, we don't want to have a larger age gap than that.

Jaina: I identified with Darron's age at the time and decided to more or less age with him. I don't know about the future but for now I guess I see myself as late twenties, early 30s? 🤷‍♀️

As Bear said, we have static ages. Misha and Ashley considered aging but then reverted. Darlene refused to age.

 

My fictional age is known, but I became autonomous some time in 2012. We don't have an accurate date, just a note in Bear's book folder with our first "real discussion".

 

If we're talking about form ages:

 

Me: 11 (but my mental age per my canon is 55-65 depending on where in the timeline you are in the series.)

 

Ren: 18 but that's arbitrary because she was my split but decided to be 18 so she could basically be her lewd self.

 

SheShe: 16, she chose this.

 

Misha: 20 

 

Ashley: 21

 

Darlene original brunette form: 27

Vietnamese descent form: 16

"Hispanic" form: 21

 

Gwen: from her canon 20

 

Aleshe: unknown. She looks a little out of phase with reality and it's hard to place an age on someone who is shifting in and out of phase.

 

Funnily enough, my books are written with my character's main passion to be able to age up normally, as it turns out, now that I can, I prefer not to. I have a nice niche in this system as the tsundere moe one.

K: Given how age is a bit wonky with our brain, ages in here vary for everyone. You'd think being the host would align me mentally in age with the body, but I actually bounce around a bit, either my 40s or a child. The body is 23 for context. Sam was made at 18, and he has always kept age similar to the body. Clara/Jessi both stay at 18 by choice. So overall, we have all sorts of aging, non-aging, and even fluid aging, with ages ranging from childhood to mid-40s, and there's enough others here to where that age limits could be shifted around.

Nora's some sort of young adult, but everyone jokes about her acting like she's 14. Been around about a year.

 

Lusus... Is a tricky one. He's only three days old, and he's not humanoid. Pretty much acts like your typical "centuries-old cursed feline" archetype.
