Gloomynoon December 18, 2020 December 18, 2020 (edited) I just had the dream so it's still fresh in my mind. Basically one half of my dream involved a walk in. Originally I tried to get her to leave and go deal with other walk ins. She agreed to leave me alone, as long as I considered if I would do something with her if I ever decided to have another tulpa. Later we were getting on a bus, I believe. Myo was there, but the walk in was also there. I got frustrated on that ride, I told Myo that she said she would leave me alone, but she was still there. That's about all that really happened with them. I may not know if the rules are different because it is a dream, but I'm a still wondering. Should I ignore that I met a walk in, in my dream? CM December 18, 2020 December 18, 2020 Roska was an intense dream character that "followed" me out of the dream because I couldn't stop thinking about him, so it happens I guess. I think I could call him a walk in because of it. You can ignore it if you want to and don't want them to stick around, but I don't know if the "rules" are any different with dream walk ins. I'd say they're not, but what do I know lol. Lucilyn December 18, 2020 December 18, 2020 as with all walk-ins, it's on you to decide whether you want them, or whether you don't - and if you don't, the way you don't accept a walk-in or create a tulpa is by not thinking about them like they're real (and also not thinking about them at all, to a lesser extent). If you don't want a character or walk-in to become a tulpa, treating them like they're already a sentient being is the worst thing to do - treat them like imagination (which they kinda probably are) and attribute no importance to them unrelated, Lumi did use inspiration from a dream character he dreamt about twice to create a servitor-tulpa later, which is kinda interesting but, if you have problems with walk-ins/too many headmates, you really should learn to not attribute importance to could-be characters/thoughtforms because that's literally what makes them into tulpas - believing they're more than just imagination Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points. I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal! Talk to us? https://community.tulpa.info/thread-ask-lumi-s-tulpas
