Forced Activity Experiment

Get used to pink 'cause I'm here to stay for 31 days! Which means all me here until July 4th. 

 

The experiment part is to see if it will cause me to be more active in general. Of course I'm always there, but I don't say much. Honestly Ashley says it all and she really can't help herself, but here, no Ashley,  no Bear. I'll call in SheShe if I need to tag out.

 

Rules:

1. No account switching. 

2. Must post every day.

3. That's enough.

 

I don't switch in so Bear is my front buddy, but he's not allowed to comment or blend.

 

I'll write down anything we notice or just update this thread in a month.

The experiment is already showing signs of great success. It's like we're rediscovering me again and we're already planning on doing this for SheShe&co too.

Devoting a lot of time to a specific headmate for a period of time can sometimes help them feel a lot better quickly. With Jasper, he also felt he needed to reinvent himself and he was given quite a bit of extra time to do so. We need to finish fleshing out our new(ish) turn system, my headmates liked the security in knowing they have extra time all to themselves.

Maybe there's a balance of power. We felt it since the very beginning, not a pecking order, we're all equal, but a timeshare in memory. 

 

We're well aware of the linear nature of experience; regardless of what happens, memories are linear and are time weighted. So if I own more experience in memories then Ashley shares less.

 

We believe long term memory is the real culprit. Since we've been paying attention and Ashley is no less active, not even a little bit, I'm more active lately and it feels like she isn't as mucg in long term memory. SheShe and her constituents are just as active as I am but because I'm additionally on here I feel more active than her.

 

It may be something to do with novelty or flavor of experience and maybe regular interaction is less memorable in the long term. In any case, we're learning from this and we're thinking about how we can adapt with this knowledge moving forward. Maybe we do nothing or maybe we do something but we can't rely on this forum. We would need to figure out an internal plan to equally enhance the balance in long term memories.

This was avery good exercise! I miss my dear sister's constant banter. She really kept it down this month on and offline and I'm looking forward to incessantly hearing her constant yammering so I decree that SheShe and Ashley will tag team the next round, but SheShe must use her account the whole month starting July 4th as planned.

 

I believe this will considerably throttle Ashley because SheShe probably won't allow any of her snarkiness.

I'm signing out. You won't hear from me for the next month. It'll be SheShe and Ashley for a while. Bear ended up not being too enthused about switching out for a month, so he's going to handle the grooming and work while Ashley and the SheShe quad do *everything else*. That'll show if one of his problems is just him or not then we can form a better plan to tackle it. The last one we are probably going to end up accepting even if we don't like it. If it's not him, we might accept both, we'll see.[/pink]

 

[SheShe] I'll be the forum girl this month, so hopefully it'll be fun for everyone. Ashley might chime in too I'm not excluding her, Misha and Bear will be out though. In fact they're off to the wat back right now... well I guess Ashley and I are switched in. 

 

[Ashley] Misha just said, "goodbye ♡" and took Bear with her. He's coming back for bathroom duty though,  I don't do that, thanks. 

 

[Joy] For as tough as Ashley is, she has her limits I guess.
