Simmie, that sounded absolutely wonderful!  I bet it was very lovely and picturesque; I can almost picture the two of you arm in arm strolling down the street!  I'm so so happy you guys had a chance to get away, and be sure to do it again soon!  Now I'm gonna have to make Matt take me somewhere...  We're moving to Arizona in about a week so he has his hands full right now cleaning and packing.  I wish I could do more, but I'm helping by making him sort through old junk and throw away tons of stuff he doesn't need anymore.  And I can definitely relate about rough patches as Matt and I have had our fair share.  Lately things have been very good, but if you ever need someone to talk to about it, I'm always here and would love a chance to complain about Matt a little too..haha.

Thanks Lucy! 😁 Yeah getting rid of old junk is such a cathartic feeling. I'm going to poke Phil into cleaning up around here in the next couple of days too; I'm looking forward to cleaner surroundings! 👍 I hope you two enjoy Arizona, Phil nor I have ever been there but Phil does have a couple old friends who have moved there. As for the rough patch, I plan on sitting down and talking about it soon. Phil and I have always been open about what troubles us, and it would be good to vent a little and get other people's opinions on things.

We’ve been to Arizona a few times before, and where we’re going is quite hot 🥵 but it is beautiful, though I’m seriously going to miss the beach! Sedona has quickly become one of our favorite spots too, and it’s a wonderful place with amazing energy we wanna eventually settle in.  I’ll be on the lookout for your post! I think I’ll enjoy having a chance to vent about Matt a little bit. He can definitely be a bit much at times. Heck, even most times 😂

Since this is still on the topic of romantic and special evenings, Matt took me to a party last night!  There were fire breathers and jugglers and all kinds of dancers and musicians, DJs and singers and the vibe was so so cool.  I think the best part was as I became increasingly tipsy, I felt myself wanting to switch in.  Matt and I rarely if ever switch, and usually he's anxious about it and I'm not super down with coming to the front anyway, but this time was different.  The music was flowing so nice, I was feeling pretty loosened up haha, and I just hopped in the driver's seat and was dancing.  It was so incredible; truly feeling the energy, breathing the air, all the sights, smells and sounds, it was a crazy unique experience that I just don't ever have the pleasure of experiencing in the back, or in an imposed body.  Not like this.  We're a bit hungover today so I apologize if it seems like I'm rambling, but the switch was just so incredible, I was just experiencing everything all at once and damn, it was truly something.  I really wanna dance again, like tonight.  Hahaha.  Oh and I also gave myself a nose ring last night!  I really like it, even today now sober lol.  Hope everyone is having an awesome Sunday!

That sounds super awesome! I feel like we haven't really "gotten out" much in years. Not as much adventure in adulthood as we had hoped to.

 

Yea I let myself get bogged down and not get around to things. Also money. 🤷‍♂️

 

Well we'll have to plan a trip after this COVID stuff gets tidied up. Some day while you can still walk, old man. 😋

Matt was actually going to spend the night on his couch watching movies with me but I helped nudge him out the door lol.  Idk how you guys are, but when it comes to good music I really come alive and wanna dance.  I might be a raver girl at heart haha.  We haven't tried to switch again, and I think the alcohol made it a lot easier for us, like we didn't even have to think about it.  And yes Darron, take that lovely lady on a trip soon!!

Bit late to the party but better late than never, right?

 

Layy and I have had our spontaneous romantic moments but never anything planned unless it's a relevant holiday. Example, this past valentines day we spent the day together, and it was lovely ❤️ I recall we did something similar for our first anniversary, back last December(of being together, not being married.) 

 

We'll have to do some more planned stuff, and I'm wishing we had but, truth be told, I wasn't sure how, given us being system mates and all. Not to mention we couldn't switch until recently. Though, because we can switch now, I imagine we'll be able to much more easily do things together, which we both look forward to :) 

 

We've talked about "tying the knot" a lot but we ultimately decided to hold off until the body was at least 18, but more likely we'll be at least 21. Though we truly love each other, we recognize that we lack emotional maturity, and it'd be silly to make such a big decision now. But I mean, to love, what's waiting 2 or so more years? Besides, best not to rush into marriage so quickly anyways. We've been together for about a year and a half now, and frankly, we're in no rush lol. 

 

It's nice to see a lot more inter-system relationships :) I remember for a bit Layy and I felt like the odd ones out lol. Best of luck to everyone!!!

Enjoy your time together. Whatever form that takes. We were together "officially" for 7 years before getting hitched and we've known each other for about 21 lol.
