Gloomynoon November 10, 2021 November 10, 2021 Whenever I wake up. My tulpa will be already active, and I guess in a dream-like state? What I mean by this is that they'll act strange or be talking about something completely random. I'll ask her about it a little later (10-20 minutes later) and she'll tell me she doesn't even know what that was about. I don't know what to make of this. Is this intrusive thoughts? I only get this type of experience upon waking up.
Glaurung26 November 10, 2021 November 10, 2021 It might be the tulpa equivalent of sleep-talking. My cousin had that a lot and it made sleeping over weird sometimes. Chances are there's some lag time where you are up and your tulpa is still trying to dream. It's a weird thing but also sounds completely normal as well. If it's a problem you could investigate it further. Discuss reasons for the dreams. Experiment with routine changes to try to fix the phenomenon. "Force" syncing rest cycles. I haven't had that happen yet but Jaina and I have had our rhythm thrown off where one of us is more tired than the other. Mostly job transition stuff recently. She's had to take over after a long shift for me. Or she naps on my lap if she's been too active or hyper for her energy reserves. Lies. I would never overdo it. 😇😏😴 Maybe talking and diagnosing why is a good idea for now. harvestmoon November 11, 2021 November 11, 2021 It could be sleep-talking or transitioning from dream to not-dream. Sometimes when my host wakes up, he transitions out of a dream, in which he gradually becomes more aware of the dream being nonsensical, but keeps participating in it until he realizes it's a dream and wakes up. It could also be related to hypnopompia. Host: I wouldn't call this "intrusive thoughts" unless you'd categorize dreams as intrusive thoughts. This was Betty's account. Now we'll all use it.

I don't mind if that's all it is. Really it just adds layers of realness I wasn't aware of. Not that Nepeta isn't real enough.
