And if this is a personal question to anyone, you don’t have to answer, I will understand completely! Okay so, my question is if y’all have a certain way you look in your wonderlands? What I mean by this is do you look like how you look in the real world, or perhaps a certain look you created for yourself that you wanted in your wonderlands. Also I’m not looking for exact descriptions whatsoever. And now a question for Tulpas, if this is even possible to answer (I’m still new to this so please be patient). When you’re in the wonderland with your host, how do you see them? I’m gonna put a pic of how I see myself in my wonderlands, also I’m kinda questioning if it’s normal to see myself in a different way, if someone could answer that, please, it would be helpful. (Also the pics I’m posting are 1. Drawn by me, and 2. All of those are forms in which I see myself). Last question, kinda goes with the one about questioning this, but is it normal that I see myself in 3rd person sometimes, like I’m watching myself from above? I do this in my wonderlands sometimes and I don’t know if that’s exactly normal, or if its an okay thing that I’m doing that. Slipper April 4, 2022 April 4, 2022 I see everything either in first person or third person, depending on which is easier or makes more sense for what's going on. For example, if Mordecai is just talking to me, or I'm actively trying to make the wonderland as realistic as possible, I'll use first person. If it's more of an in-depth conversation, or I'm watching Mordecai do something, it's easier to use third person and watch him interact with my wonderland form. This form is similar to how I look in real life, just a bit simpler and more visually appealing. I tend to see myself in a similar "artstyle" to Mordecai, just so we match. I've drawn myself and Mordecai a few times in our art thread and that's pretty much how we look in our mind. As for how Mordecai sees me, he sees things from the same perspective as I do. So if I'm looking from a 3rd person perspective, he sees it from the same view. If I'm in first person, he sees it from my point of view, if that makes sense. There aren't any noticeable differences between us. As for whether it's normal, yeah. There aren't many rules for wonderlands or how they work. It makes sense that people would chose to look cooler or more idealized than they do in real life if they have the opportunity. You have to remember that wonderlands are basically just a well thought out daydreaming space, so anything you would do in a daydream is pretty par for the course there. Exceptions would be most commonly when Layy and I get all lovey dovey at night, but even then during those times sometimes we still view things through a third person lense. In system Re:Body(In order of the rainbow): Sean, Esper, Blinky, Compact, Janey, Kyle, Gwen'd, Gwen, Emily, Rollin, Waynin, Trease, Layy, Justin, Chloe, Zachery, and Elliot. I've been here a while. Much longer than I thought I'd be. Our system was founded October 2nd, 2018. In early 2020, we decided that due to our systems exponential growth, we'd limit who would be active. Now, every month, we do a check to see who wishes to be in dormancy and who wishes to be active. Currently, for the month of April, 2023, we've got myself(Bryan), Janey(Co-host), Emily, Layy, Chloe, and Esper(sub-rep). After over 2 long years, we can finally switch :) Bryan is currently swapped in as host, Esper is sub-rep. Stardog System April 5, 2022 April 5, 2022 It's easier to use third person for myself while in wonderland because I don't have to ground my wonderland senses, and instead just puppet myself like a doll. When we're having conversations or doing fun activities like flying, though, I try to use first person. I'm always in first person. It's just natural. Stardog System 4y of tulpas!
