Host Appreciation Day 2022

We had Tulpa Appreciation Day on July 7, so now it's time for TAD's sister holiday Host Appreciation Day, which is on August 8th! 😁 It's a day for us tulpas to appreciate our wonderful hosts for all they've done for us! 💚

 

I think it's going to be a pretty low-key holiday at least for us this year, but if anyone has any community ideas please share them! 😁 Last year I made a short list of possible ways you can celebrate HAD with your host, so I'll repeat them here!

• Be extra present with your host on the 8th. If you're the kind of tulpa who spends most of your time way in the back or in the wonderland, come forward and spend time with them as they go about their day!
• Give them extra hugs, cuddles, and head pats throughout the day!
• Persuade your host to set aside part of the day as "me time". This is showing love for your host by having them love themselves! Tell your host to do something they really enjoy IRL that they might not get to do all that often. Join them and share in that joy with them!
• If you have the ability to switch or are at least strong at possession; switch in and do your hosts' chores for them! Let them sit back and relax while you do the work!
• Pamper them inside the wonderland. Treat them like royalty!
• Make a list of things you love about your host. It can be long or short as you want. You can share it or just keep it private between you and them.
• Take them on an adventure in the wonderland! Something beyond what you would normally do.
• Learn a new ability to show off to them and impress them!
• Play an awesome game with your host!
• Post on this thread or make your own thread and tell the community what you love about your host!
• Give them a gift inside the wonderland, or IRL if you want to / can afford it!
• Use vocal possession to tell your host "I love you" out loud. Seriously, I can't understate how powerful this is. The first time I did it Phil nearly broke down and cried; it was an immensely powerful moment for both of us.

tfw have to work both days and don't have the luxury of taking time off. At least I'll be taking Naomi out for sushi at the end of August to celebrate her birthday...

I want to wish a very happy Host Appreciation Day to all the kind hosts who create safe and wonderful spaces in their brains for us tulpas to live! 💚 Phil and I will be doing most of our celebrating tomorrow because of timing constraints, but I hope everyone has an excellent HAD! 😁
