I remember Bre talking about imposing (and I'm hoping for those less skilled in imposition imagining) having a different sensory experience.

My mentee Jaeth has already taken a very literal route to trying this out- he's experimenting with implants to develop a real sense of cardinal direction. While I'm not eager to put implants into myself anytime soon, it's super cool and I wonder if this can possibly act as a cheat code for one's imagination or imposition.

By imagining an implant that produces an output (maybe a buzz or vibration) given some input (let's say how much candy is in your area), you can now develop a "candy sense".

Granted, all of this is assuming the input is imaginary. It technically wouldn't be imposition if the input was an actual implant, that would just be a sense.

I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on this

This reminds me of the "magic glasses" fantasy I used to have when I was in my young teens. I used to imagine what it would be like to have a pair of glasses that you could put on, and then you could ask the glasses to show you something (Such as: Who is currently single?) And the glasses would then highlight people in one color for yes and one color for no, and things like that. Not exactly an implant but along the same lines as your candy sense implant.

Of course this kind of thing would have to be limited to the wonderland, but it could be an interesting thing to train extra senses in the wonderland. It would be a fun exercise if nothing else.

I wonder if there's a way to actually develop a "sense" of who's single. Body language can tell you a lot about a person, and if you decide to research it you could potentially conclude "they're missing the behaviors of someone married and they don't have a ring, therefore they are single"

Being able to dump that in the unconscious mind and then have them colored over by a specific color would be pretty awesome
